    • It is intended to provide a tape printer which enables to forcibly separate a platen roller and a print head along with an opening movement of a cover element in case the platen roller and the print head have adhered to each other because of a long-period storage of the tape printer with the platen roller and the print head being in contact. Accordingly, a cam pressing member and a cam receiver move a roller holder to a withdrawing position in which the platen roller and a thermal head are separated from each other when the cover element is opened, so that the cam pressing member and the cam receiver can be forcibly returned to the withdrawing position from a position in which the platen roller is in contact with the thermal head.

    • A robot control apparatus with great safety is provided by detecting access of a teacher to a robot and automatically reducing the operating speed of the robot when the teacher accesses the robot. The robot control device equipped with a pendant (10) to be manipulated by a teacher, for controlling the operation of a robot on the basis of an operation command from the pendant (10), includes a detecting device (8) for detecting the position of the teacher; a signal processing unit (11) for receiving a signal from the detecting device to produce the position information of the teacher; and a limited speed selecting unit (12) for selecting the operating speed of the robot on the basis of the position information. The robot is controlled at the maximum speed set at the operating speed selected by the limited speed selecting unit (12) on the basis of the operation command from the pendant (10).

    • The present invention has for its object to provide a mechanism for preventing a liquid from splashing from a liquid tank, and a component mounting apparatus with this liquid splashing prevention mechanism. The liquid splash prevention mechanism has a first seal member with a circumferential outer face attached to a first driving lever in a lubricating oil tank, and a second seal member with an arc face set in the lubricating oil tank correspondingly to the first seal member so that a sealing gap for preventing lubricating oil from scattering is formed between the first seal member and the second seal member. Moreover, the lubricating oil is filled in the sealing gap. Scattering of the lubricating oil is more surely prevented by this arrangement. Quality degradation to be caused by adhesion of the lubricating oil to printed boards and the like can be prevented, and productivity can be improved.
