摘要： In an element forming region isolated from other regions by a field oxide, one select transistor and a plurality of MOS transistors are connected in series so that a source/drain diffusion region is commonly owned by two neighboring transistors. The gate electrodes of the MOS transistors are connected to the lower electrodes of ferroelectric capacitors, respectively. The gate electrode of the select transistor, and the lower electrodes and upper electrodes of the ferroelectric capacitors are led out as word lines. A metal wiring which serves as a bit line is connected to a drain diffusion region.

摘要： A silver halide photosensitive material after exposure can be efficiently processed in a multi-compartment apparatus comprising a series of processing compartments interconnected through narrow channels to define a continuous processing path, by passing the photosensitive material through the series of compartments along the path. Two or more processing solutions of different compositions are supplied to the path at different positions to fill the compartment with the solutions, while the solution is discharged from the path through an outlet port at an intermediate position. During a quiescent period, the solution is discharged such that the compartment which the photosensitive material first enters and the compartment from which the photosensitive material exits become empty. Operation is restarted by refilling the entrance and exit compartments with fresh solutions.

A protected enclosure is positioned about the photovoltaic cells to shield them from destructive radiation and particulate matter. The transmission line includes a plurality of optical fiber waveguides whose input ends are positioned to receive the concentrated solar energy flux. Means are provided for moving the input ends of the optical fiber waveguides to optimize the quantity of concentrated solar flux entering the waveguides.
