    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowing object capturing structure, which is lightweight and can be constructed in a short period at a low construction cost, by connecting a plurality of net-like tensile force members connected with an expansion member at least at one position to support anchors fixed and supported on ground sections, and crosswise stretching them to form a net-like body with a flexible structure. SOLUTION: Horizontal members 2 are suspended between ground sections 1 of a riverbank or a riverbed, and this flowing object capturing structure is formed with net-like tensile force members 3 and expansion members 4 connected to their ends or middles. The horizontal members 2 are supported and fixed on ground sections 1 by support anchors 10, and the expansion members 4 fitted to the ends of the horizontal members 2 are connected. The flowing object capturing structure covers the cross section of a river and captures flowing objects such as sediment and drifting logs. Flowing objects smaller than the mesh pass through and flow out as a rule, the collision energy of large flowing objects is absorbed by a net-like body and the expansion members 4, and the load applied to the structure can be sharply damped. This lightweight structure can be constructed in a short execution period at a low construction cost.
