摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a waterproof seal for a connector, formed in such a structure that electric wire inserting work can be executed without complexity while an electric wire wrapping section can still have the function of improving the waterproofing property of a waterproof main-section. CONSTITUTION:A waterproof seal for a connector has an electric wire wrapping section 15, wherein an electric wire 11 is wrapped up on its outer circumference, formed on the back side of a waterproof main-section 14. The electric wire wrapping section 15 is composed of a thin-wall flexible cylinder subsection 24 and a thick-wall cylinder subsection 25 formed into thick wall at the back of the subsection 24. When the electric wire 11 is inserted into the waterproof seal from the head side of the electric wire wrapping section 15, it can be smoothly inserted into the waterproof seal without any possibility that the electric wire wrapping section 15 is buckled to stop up a wire insertion port because the buckling strength of the electric wire wrapping section 15 has been increased by the thick-wall cylinder subsection 25. When bending force is exerted on the electric wire 11, the flexible cylinder subsection 24 is readily bent on an inner circumferential lip subsection 22a serving as a fulcrum in accordance with bending of the electric wire 11 and the resultant bending force is accordingly exerted on the waterproof main-section 14 to impede deforming the electric wire 11, so that the flexible cylinder subsection 24 can fulfill the function of improving the waterproofing property between the waterproof main-section 14 and a cavity 46.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a connector capable of easily positioning the tips of terminal pins. CONSTITUTION:Terminal pins 2, the tips of which are bent at the right angle, and a comb-like vertically positioning piece 3 are projected from a connector main body 1. The tips of the terminal pins 2 are held by the vertically positioning piece 3, to be thus laterally positioned. A comb-like laterally positioning piece 4 is fixed perpendicularly to the vertically positioning piece 3. Consequently, the tips of the terminal pins 2 are positioned in the vertical direction. The positioning pieces 3, 4 surround the tips of the terminal pins 2 in a grid form for positioning them both vertically and laterally.

Thus, even if a female terminal is half-inserted, the fact that a secondary locking portion 41 is loaded over a secondary locking protrusion 24, and the retainer 30 moves to the main locking position is certainly prevented.
