摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a damping material efficiently in the manufacture of damping profiles, in which a damping-material sheet is heat-fused onto the internal surface of the hollow section of long-sized extruded profiles. SOLUTION: A spare cord 6 connecting a damping-material sheet is passed into the hollow section 1a of extruded profiles 1 when the damping-material sheets are arranged onto the internal surfaces of the hollow sections of the extruded profiles 1 with the hollow sections 1a in the method, an inserting member 5 fitted into the hollow section of the profiles is formed of foamed plastics, the spare cord 6 is installed to the inserting member 5, and the member 5 is fitted to one end of the hollow section 1a of the profiles, and blown out to the reverse side by compressed air, thus passing the spare cord 6 to the hollow section 1a of the profiles 1. The damping-material sheet is connected at the rear end of the spare cord 6, and the damping-material sheet is pulled into the hollow section 1a by drawing the spare cord 6, and disposed at a specified place.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise inside a car in low cost and effectively without increasing weight of a vehicle by bonding damping resin on a truck frame and a part or whole of a hollow inner surface of a bolster. SOLUTION: When damping resin is bonding, the resin is bonded to a part, or whole surface of a hollow inner surface of a hollow structure throughout whole length in longitudinal direction. The damping resin 3 is bonded so as to cover whole rib part 1a which is an upper transmitting path of a bolster 1 formed by aluminum alloy extruded material and a truck frame. As a part bonded the damping resin having lower rigidity has larger absorbing action of oscillation energy, the resin is bonded to the rib part, 1 whose plate thickness is formed thicker than that of a face plate part. Whereby, noise inside a car can be reduced in low cost and effectively without increasing weight of a vehicle.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the damping characteristics by providing damping resin on the inner surface of the hollow part of a truss type aluminum extruded shape material. SOLUTION: Damping resins 10 and plastic films 11 are respectively laminated to the lower surface of the hollow part 7 of a lengthy aluminum extruded shape material 1 having a truss type sectional shape, the oblique surface of the hollow part 8, and the oblique and lower surface of the hollow part 9. When the vibration from a sound source is applied to the material 1, a surface plate 3 is excited to start bending vibration. Then, the resin 10 sandwiched between the plate 3 and the film 22 undergoes a bending deformation, thereby converting part of vibration energy into thermal energy. When residual vibration energy is propagated to a rib 4 so that the rib 4 starts for bending vibration, the resin 10 sandwiched between the rib 4 and the film 11 undergoes so that part of the vibration energy is converted into thermal energy. As a result, the bending vibrations of the plate 3 and rib 4 of the source side are suppressed to largely suppress the vibration energy of the entire truss structure, and hence the vibration energy to be transmitted to the plate 2 of the opposite side to the source is considerably reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain the subject lightweight resin having high vibration-damping and sound insulation effects, excellent in workability, thus useful for the floor structural materials for vehicles or ships and for the floors or outer wall materials for buildings, comprising an asphalt, a synthetic rubber, a petroleum resin and a filler at specified proportions. CONSTITUTION: This resin comprises (A) 15-35wt.% of an asphalt, (B) 2-10wt.% of a synthetic rubber such as styrene-butadiene rubber, (C) 1-5wt.% of an aliphatic or aromatic petroleum resin, and (D) 50-75wt.% of a filler pref. composed of (i) 10-25wt.% of an inorganic lightweight aggregate, (ii) 35-50wt.% of a powdery filler, (iii) 3-8wt.% of a fibrous filter, and (iv) 2-5wt.% of quick lime. The objective structural body is obtained by bringing this resin into contact with a metallic structural body followed by heating to 100-250 deg.C to effect fusion bonding of the resin to the metallic structural body.
