    • PURPOSE:To avert or decrease the generation of such trouble that an information recording medium sticks to the inside of a container, more particularly fixing members during preservation and transportation by providing an anti- adhesive layer to at least part of the surface of the information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The information recording medium is generally produced by forming a recording layer which permits writing and/or reading of information by a laser onto a substrate such as glass plate, plastic plate and plastic sheet. The anti-adhesive film is provided to at least part of the surface of the information recording medium. The anti-adhesive layer 12 is provided near the center of the disk-shaped information recording medium 11 concentrically with the disk. The fixing members 24 are provided to the container 23 and the anti- adhesive layer 22 of the information recording medium 21 is disposed in such a position where said layer contacts with the surface of the members 24.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible the mass production of a recording medium having decreased surface defects and error signals with good reproducibility by using the glass produced by a float method in which a metallic tin melt is used as a glass substrate and provided a recording layer to the surface which does not contact with the tin. CONSTITUTION:The glass produced by the float method in which the metallic tin melt is used is used for the glass substrate 11 of the recording medium 10. More specifically, fused glass 33 is cast onto the surface of the metallic tin melt 32 contained in a heat-resistant vessel 31 and is moved in one direction and pulled horizontally, by which the glass plate is produced. The recording layer 12 is formed on the surface of such glass plate on the side where the glass plate does not contact with the metallic tin melt. The surface which does not contact with the tin has therefore the decreased surface defects. The mass production of the recording medium having the decreased defects and error signals with the good reproducibility is thus made possible.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent a substrate from being broken or peeled off under an environmental condition by constituting a titled medium so that an adhesive agent for sticking two pieces of disk-shaped substrates satisfies a specified expression.
      CONSTITUTION: Under coat layers 22a, 22b and recording layers 23a, 23b are provided on two pieces of disk-shaped substrates 21a, 21b, respectively, ring- shaped inside and outside spacers 25, 27 are placed between through adhesive agent layers 24a, 24b, 26a and 26b, and they are joined by placing the recording layers to the inside. A thickness (d) of the adhesive agent layer and a modulus of rigidity G are made to satisfy the expression. In this way, the larger the ratio d/G is, the smaller the shearing stress and the peeling stress applied to the adhesive agent become, and if it exceeds a range of this expression, a surface deflection is generated when a disk is rotated. Accordingly, when preserving and carrying the disk, the substrate is prevented from being broken or peeled off, a difference of a thermal expansion of the time when a temperature has changed, and a damage by an external impact can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the affinity between spacer surfaces and adhesive agents and to provide airtight structure having good durability in the stage of joining two sheets of disk-shaped substrate via the spacers b6y using anodized Al (alloy) for at least the inside spacer of respectively annular inside and outside spacers. CONSTITUTION:Primer coating layers 2a, 2b are respectively provided on the opposed surfaces of two sheets of the disk-shaped substrates 1a, 1b and optical information recording layer 3a, 3b consisting of a metal such as Te or In or semiconductor such as Ge are provided thereon. The two substrates 1a, 1b are joined by using radiation curing adhesive gents of acryl, epoxy silane, etc. via the annular spacer formed by subjected the surface of Al to an anodic oxidation treatment on the central hole side of the substrates 1a, 1b. The spacer 5 is similarly joined to the outside as well by using the adhesive agents 4a, 4b. The sealing is thus executed with the good water and heat resistance, high adhesiveness and the excellent airtightness without exfoliation, etc. The air sandwich type information recording medium which obviates the deterioration of the recording layers owing to the intrusion of external air is thus obtd.
