    • An arrangement used in a speaker designed to restrict movement of at least a portion of the speaker cone, to inhibit the speaker cone from deforming, completely flipping inside out and/or to inhibit sticking of the speaker cone to a frame of the speaker. In one arrangement, there is provided a speaker insert that is designed to be inserted at least partially between the frame and the cone of a speaker. The speaker insert includes a body having a front face and a rear face, a frame opening positioned at least closely adjacent to a center region of the body, and a plurality of gas openings spaced from the primary opening and spaced from a periphery edge of the body. In another and/or additional arrangement, the speaker includes a modified speaker frame.

    • A method for producing surface features and an etch masking method. A combination is provided of a block copolymer and additional material. The block copolymer includes a first block of a first polymer covalently bonded to a second block of a second polymer. The additional material is miscible with the first polymer. A film is formed of the combination directly onto a surface of a first layer. Nanostructures of the additional material self-assemble within the first polymer block. The film of the combination and the first layer are etched. The nanostructures have an etch rate lower than an etch rate of the block copolymer and lower than an etch rate of the first layer. The film is removed and features remain on the surface of the first layer. Also included is an etch masking method where the nanostructures mask portions of the first layer from said etchant.

    • A computing node that functions as a member within a computing system group, such as a cluster, that has a status allowing receipt of group messages even though the node is not an active member of the cluster. The node is able to function as a primary member or as a backup member that controls redundant resources to be utilized in case of a failure. The computing node is able to have one of two status values, an “Active” status and an “Ineligible” status. Members that are able to function as a primary member have an “Active” status assigned, and a member that is not configured or otherwise eligible to perform as a primary member is assigned an “Ineligible” status. Members with an Ineligible status receive all group messages and therefore are able to become configured and eligible to become a primary member.
