    • PURPOSE: A midamble transmission method in wireless communication system and a device thereof are provided to make the location of sub carriers which the midamble sequence occupies regardless of the number of the transmission antenna of cells same thereby reducing the influence of the interference of adjacent cell. CONSTITUTION: A base station generates midamble sequence about each of the plurality of antennas(S100). The base station maps the each of midamble sequence in a sub band unit including 72 of sub carriers(S110). The location of the midamble sequence-mapped sub carrier in one sub band is constant regardless of the number of antennas. The base station transmits the each of midamble sequence to a terminal by each antenna(S120).

    • PURPOSE: A MIMO codebook generation method and an apparatus thereof reducing the memory space of a mobile station are provided to implement a codebook design by using a specific codebook entry as the codebook of a MIMO system. CONSTITUTION: A codebook includes entries from rank 1 to rank 4. Each rank indicates a spatial multiplexing order. The entries about rank 8 is composed at rank 1 of two basic matrix for MIMO codebook by the use of the entries inside the rank 1 of the codebook in the MIMO system. A codebook generating apparatus transmits feedback indicating an entry index of the MIMO elementary codebook to the base station.

    • An interleaving method in a wireless communication system is provided to secure flexibility in designing a turbo encoder by excluding a separate table for parameters for interleaving. A turbo encoder(300) includes a first constituent encoder(310), a second constituent encoder(320), and an internal interleaver(330). The first constituent encoder receives information bits, and outputs first parity bits. The internal interleaver interleaves the information bits. The second constituent encoder receives bits outputted in the internal interleaver, and outputs second parity bits. The internal interleaver interleaves the information bits by using a fixing parameter and a circulation parameter.

The AMC controller(160) controls a transmitter.
