    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for frame offset construction and transmission in mobile communication system are provided to setting a frame offset of a physical synchronization channel/physical broadcasting channel and a physical downlink channel and reserving a part of common channel thereby avoiding cross interference. CONSTITUTION: In case Pico-cell eNodeB applies a control channel interference avoiding function only to some of symbols, a control unit(920) reserves some of symbols at the end of sub frame. In case of applying to all symbols, the control unit determines a sub frame number limited and reserves some of symbols at the end of the sub frame limited. Regardless of a use of the function, the control unit reserves a symbol including a common channel resource corresponding to synchronization/broadcast channel of the other layers in corresponding sub frame, except the reserved resource, constructs a small base station frame, and transmits a small base station frame to determined offset for preparing a synchronization of macro base station.

    • PURPOSE: A transmission rate detecting method for a CDMA terminal is provided to get the transmission rate quickly during a demodulation action of the CDMA terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a data frame is sent to a de-interleaver from a modem, the signal of the received data frame is decoded and encoded to the transmission rate of n. The encoded signal is compared with the received signal and it is inspected whether the error is larger than a critical value or not. If smaller, then the transmission rate is transmitted to the vocoder and whether the transmission is completed or is not tested. If not completed, it is returned to the start. If the error is larger than the critical value, then the above n is set to some transmission rate except for the used transmission rate to decode and encode the current frame, and it is returned to the start again.
