摘要： PURPOSE: To detect a closing of hose quickly as same as an air presence to prevent the patient from becoming dangerous by providing an evaluation circuit responding to emitting heat from a heater element to generate an output-signal, whenever there is no presence of fluid flow emitting heat adjacent to the heater element or whenever there is a presence of air bubbles insulating heat. CONSTITUTION: If any liquid leakage exists in the hose 14 channel, the flowing liquid emits heat from the flow sensor 17 to lower the resistance value of the resistor element 19, which causes the measuring bridge to deviate from the balance to generate a difference in voltage between two inputs from the current source 29 feeding much more current to the measuring bridge. Consequently, the current increases both at the two branches. This results in increasing the resistance value of the resistor element 19, until the bridge circuit is balanced once again, for an increase in heating up the resistor element 19. The current source 19 is thus adjusted so that the current heat generated via the resistance value 19 becomes equal to the heat to be taken away selectively from the resistance via the liquid flow. The output signal from the current source 29 is indicated by a voltmeter 30, through which the user obtains the information about a size of flow.

The joining part 13 of the arch parts 11, 12 is formed as a rib 15 extending outwardly, and the thickness of each rib 15 is set to be nearly equal with the sum of both thickness of walls of two arch parts 11, 12.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve a flexible bag with multiple divided rooms inside which is securely durable against pressure inside divided rooms by forming a sealing means with a core bar and a bar-shaped insertion member to catch the core bar like a jaw, and clasping a foil sheet of the bag main body between the core bar and the insertion member. CONSTITUTION: This double room bag consists of an undivided bag 10 which is made of foil sheets 11, 12 made of flexible transparent plastics. An outlet 17 is formed at one end of the lower edge 14 of the bag, and the upper edge 16 is deposited to a reinforcing belt member 18, where a small hole 19 is formed for hanging. The foil sheets 11 and 12 are inserted between a core bar 25 and an insertion member 27 to seal divided rooms 21 and 22 from each other. Each of the divided rooms 21 and 22 is filled with elements of mixed injection solution, and the edge 16 is closed by deposition. The core bar 15 is taken out in the axial direction from the insertion member 27 by a small hole means 23 for a handle. Then the insertion member 27 is released and the passage between the divided rooms 21 and 22 is opened. The bag main body 10 is rubbed to mix the two kinds of solution, so that the solution to be injected from the outlet 17 can be securely mixed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle apparatus for reliably preventing accidental and careless contact with a needle tip after use in an intravenous catheter. SOLUTION: A needle apparatus includes a unitary, resilient needle guard received in a catheter hub. The needle guard includes a proximal arm or wall that includes an opening through which a needle passes for axial movement. When the needle is retracted from the catheter, it releases the force that had previously prevented movement of the needle guard within the catheter hub. This in turn causes the needle guard to snap into a position in which it is clamped onto the needle shaft and in which its distal wall blocks access to the needle tip. In this condition, the spring needle guard and needle can be removed from the catheter hub. A slot or bulge may be formed in the needle shaft that engages with the needle guard after the protected needle and needle guard are removed from the catheter hub, thereby to prevent removal of the protected needle from the needle guard.
