    • PURPOSE: To enlarge a distance between ground stations allocated to adjacent channels by allocating respective base stations so that they operate by one of nine communication channels and regularly and geographically distributing them. CONSTITUTION: The plural base stations arranged for communication with a moving terminal are provided. The communication channels are allocated so that the respective base stations operate by one of the nine communication channels. The base stations are regularly and geographically distributed. In the allocation of the channels, six channels are distributed in a hexagonal form and the seventh channel is positioned in the center. The remaining two channels are separated from the seventh channel further apart from the channels arranged in the hexagonal form distribution. Thus, a large geographical interval can be provided between the ground stations operating by the same channel and between the ground stations operating by the adjacent channels.

    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to form an image on a common image plane over specified two light wave bands and to form a lens system from just tow kinds of materials by forming one optical path by one or more lens elements composed of zinc selenide and one or more lens elements composed of zinc sulfide or cesium bromide. CONSTITUTION: The lens systems has the first lens 1 composed of the zinc selenide and the second lens 2 composed of the zinc sulfide. A diaphragm 3 is disposed in front of these lenses 1, 2 so that the transmitted rays gather at the focus of the image plane 4. The lens system is so constituted as to exhibit a conjugation ratio, i.e., ratio of an object and the image plane of 2:1. The lens system which forms the image of 0.5 times the size of the object and brings about the imaging performance of the proximity diffraction limitation on the optical axis over a transmission wave band of 3 to 5μm and 8 to 12μm is obtd. according to this constitution As a result, the image good in both of the prescribed wave bands is formed by just two kinds of the different materials.

    • PURPOSE: To make the filter suitable for the protection of the eye against a laser by making the concave surface of a 1st lens conform to the convex surface of the 2nd lens, equalizing the total power of the 1st and 2nd lenses to zero, and providing a diffracting mirror coating for the isometric interface between the 1st and 2nd lenses. CONSTITUTION: This filter is equipped with the 1st meniscus lens 17 with negative power and the 2nd meniscus lenses 23 and 27 having positive power, the concave surface 17b of the 1st lens conforms to the convex surface 23a of the 2nd lenses 23 and 27, and the total power of the 1st lens 17 and 2nd lenses 23 and 27 is equalized substantially to zero. Then the diffracting mirror coating 21 is formed on the isometric interface between the 1st lens 17 and 2nd lenses 23 and 27. Here, the fringe of holography record formed of a mirror 21 is isometric to the glass concave surface 17b and the holography mirror 21 reflects with wavelength equal to wavelength which is optically a menance. Further, the reflection preventiveness of a coating 19 provided on the external surface 17a of the 1st lens 17 contributes to the constitution of a hologram and the performance of the device.
