摘要： The present invention relates to an agricultural machine such as a combine harvester. The machine comprises a feeder (1) such as a straw elevator, and a detachable header (2). The feeder comprises at least one rotatable cam (15) and a hook (16), rotatable about a common axis (14). The cam is arranged to gradually reduce the distance between the feeder and the header by rotating the cam(15) away from the header and the hook is arranged to grip a bar or pin (18) located on the header as the cam is being rotated away from the header, thereby securing the header to the feeder. An agricultural machine according to the invention further is equipped with a coupling mechanism (20) for automatically establishing a hydraulic and/or electric coupling between the feeder and the header, the coupling being actuated through the reduction of the distance between feeder and header. The invention is equally related to a method for automatically establishing a hydraulic and/or electric coupling between the feeder and the header of a combine harvesting machine.

摘要： A crop pick-up header (2) according to the invention comprises a frame (10) and a rotatable reel (13) configured to collect crops from the ground, as well as a rotatable auger (20) provided with two oppositely wound helicoidal flights (26). The auger is rotatable about its central axis with respect to a pair of support arms (21) which are themselves pivotable relative to the frame, so that the pivoting movement of the arms results in lowering or raising the auger. The height position of the auger (20) is a function of the crop throughput and of the auger's rotational speed. The header of the invention is equipped with at least one sensor (30) configured to measure the height position of the auger or a parameter representative thereof. The header comprises or is coupled to a control unit (31) configured to control the auger's rotational speed as a function of the detected height position, determined through the sensor (30). In particular, the auger speed is lowered when the auger drops below a predefined height, so that lower throughput is compensated by a lower auger speed, thereby ensuring efficient chopping in a harvester to which the 20header is coupled, even when the crop yield drops below a given level.

摘要： A combine includes a feeder housing that include a movable cradle frame at the front, configured to receive a header, so that a controlled movement of the cradle frame may be imparted to the header during a harvesting run. The combine further includes a driveline for driving moving components of the combine header. The driveline includes a belt drive mounted laterally with respect to the feeder housing. The belt drive is configured to transfer a rotation of a first drive axle that is part of the driveline, to a rotation of a second axle to which a drive axle of the header can be coupled. The belt drive includes two pulleys which are maintained in a common plane regardless of movement of the header relative to the feeder housing. The pulleys are rotatably mounted in a longitudinally extendable bridge structure, and are coupled to the first and second axles.
