摘要： A scheduling and processing system is disclosed for telephone and video communication with a plurality of remote locations from a central station. The system utilizes a dial-up telephone facility and telephonic television terminal units at the remote locations and memory structure for storing call schedule data on the telephonic television terminal units. In accordance with one embodiment, the system also includes telephone interface structure for interfacing the dial-up telephone facility to accomplish communication and at least one central video terminal including a speakerphone unit and a display device for providing television displays. Computer control structure receives calls through the dial-up telephone facility and the telephone interface structure stores the call schedule data in the memory structure for retrieval in a sequential order and for driving the telephone interface structure to provide connections from the central video terminal to the telephonic television terminal units in accordance with the sequential order for video communication.

摘要： A method and an apparatus used with a private branch exchange for addressee location. An addressee notifies of his or her peresent location by a predetermined dialling operation from an extension telephone, other than an extension telephone allotted to him or her within the private branch exchange system, whereupon a switchboard of the system stores the location of the addressee in association with the extension telephone from which the notification was made. Upon arrival of an incoming call for the extension telephone allotted to the addressee, the switchboard transfers the call to a switchboard operation device which displays the addressee's location. The apparatus further comprises a character display section, the switchboard operation device adatped to operate the switchboard of the PBX system, a memory unit for storing the location name for each extension telephone connected to the switchboard and a profile of each specific addressee, an input unit for entering into the memory unit the location name of each extension telephone and the profile of each addressee, and a switchboard control unit which, upon a predetermined dialling operation by an addressee from an extension telephone other than the one allotted to hime or her, stores the addressee's location at that time point in the memory unit, and if a call arrives for the extension telephone allotted to the addressee under this condition, transfers the call to the switchboard operation unit while at the same time indicating the addressee's present location on the switchboard operation unit.

摘要： An interactive remote controlled scheduling system for enabling a caller at one end of a telephone line, or other channel, to automatically schedule an appointment with an electronic scheduling machine at a receiving end in the absence of human intervention at the receiving end. Upon the caller dialing and reaching the electronic scheduler, a sequential series of interactive audible instruction messages are received to initially instruct the caller to dial back the day desired for appointment, and in reply to receive back from the electronic scheduler, a subschedule of the times available for appointment on this day as an audible announcement. The caller is then instructed to dial back a desired time-of-day from those announced as available, and this dialed time is received and automatically entered into the electronic scheduler to complete the appointment. Additionally, the caller can be instructed to dial other numbers, and in reply, to receive back any audible messages that have been stored for the caller at the receiving end. In an alternative system, the caller merely obtains a schedule or subschedule of available times upon dialing the number of the electronic scheduler and subsequently dialing the day of interest.

The past debtor payment history and other debtor information may be for a plurality of accounts over a past time period. Once the model is created, it may be used when a debtor misses a payment to determine a prediction of when the debtor will pay. The model uses characteristics of past debtors and their payment dates to predict, based upon the characteristics of the late debtor, when the late debtor will make a payment. The predicted timing may include a predicted probability for whether the payment will be made within the predicted timing. The predicted timing may be a specific date, or a window (e.g., a three-day window).
