摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of an electric motor by suppressing a magnetic imbalance generated by an armature coil during low-speed operation.
SOLUTION: Each armature coil 31 is wound into each slot 27a of an armature core 27 in full-pitch winding. Both ends of the armature coil 31 are electrically connected to segment pieces 28a adjacent to each other of a commutator 28. A common brush 32, a low-speed operation brush 33 arranged so as to be shifted by 90 degrees in a rotating direction with respect to the common brush 32, and a high-speed operation brush 36 arranged so as to be shifted by a prescribed angle in a rotating direction with respect to the low-speed operation brush 33 are brought into sliding contact with the commutator 28. Segment pieces 28a respectively shifted from each other by two pitches of a magnetic pole are electrically connected with each other by a plurality of connecting wires 41. The armature coils 31 short-circuited by the high-speed operation brush 36 during low-speed operation are symmetrically arranged across a straight line connecting the high-speed operation brush 36 and the axial center of an armature shaft.
