摘要： 1289635 Rotary positive-displacement machines FRIED KRUPP GmbH 22 Jan 1970 [23 Jan 1969] 3211/70 Heading F1F A hand-held pneumatic-motor for a grinding wheel includes a vaned rotor 12 attached to an output shaft 29 and supported by fixed discs 21, 22 at the ends of a cylindrical housing 11 that is furnished with two sets of air-inlet slots 10, 16 and a single set of air-outlet slots 26. Initially, compressed air is supplied solely to the slots 10 through an inlet 1 1 , a passage 2 whose outlet end is controlled by a centrifugal governor 4, a chamber 9 and a passage 23. When the rotor speed diminishes as a consequence of an increasing load on the shaft 29 the governor operates so as to reduce its throttling effect on the air entering the chamber 9. The consequential pressure-rise in said chamber moves a stepped piston 14 so as to allow additional air to enter a working chamber 24 by way of a passage 15 and the slots 16, and thereby augment the torque produced by the rotor. The piston 14 renders the passage 15 closed until the pressure in the chamber 9 reaches a predetermined value.
