    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce pure water with a small sized device by making the pressure of the secondary side of a membrane lower than that of the primary side and providing a distilling means for generating steam in the secondary side by the difference of the pressure, a condensing means for condensing steam to form a gas-liquid two phase body and a separating means for separating the gas-liquid two phase body into a gas and pure water. SOLUTION: In the operation of a water treating apparatus applied for the removal of water or the like discharged in a system such as a space station, raw water in a raw water tank 2 is heated by a heater 10 and fed to a membrane distillation membrane module 4 through a circulation passage 51 by a circulation pump 3. The difference of pressure is generated between the primary side and the secondary side connected to a steam pipe 52 in the distillation membrane module 4 by evacuating the secondary side by a vacuum pump 5 and the raw water is turned to steam by the differential pressure and permeates through the membrane to flow out in the secondary side. Next, the steam is fed to a condenser 6 to be cooled, the resultant gas-liquid two phase body is fed to a membrane system gas-liquid separator 7 and the liquid permeates through a hydrophilic membrane and is introduced into a produced water tanks 8 and 9.

    • PURPOSE:To breed fish or the like in an unmanned condition under the agravity environment by connecting the end part of the downstream side of a fish tank to a water inlet of an artificial lung by a water circulating means, and providing an air supplying means to the artificial lung. CONSTITUTION:When a water circulating means 4 and an air supplying means 30 are activated, oxygen in the air is dissolved into the water from a water inlet of an artificial lung 8. The water where oxygen is dissolved flows out of the water outlet and enters the end of the upstream side of a fish tank 2. Fish or the like are kept in the fish tank 2, and oxygen is consumed while the water flows from the upstream side to the downstream side, and the excretion is mixed therein. The excretion is removed and the water is purified while this water passes a filtering means. Then, the water is again sent to the artificial lung 8 by the water circulating means 4. Thus, the water where abundant oxygen is dissolved and the excretion is removed to be clean is constantly circulated and supplied into the fish tank 2. The fish 1 or the like which are being bred can be observed through the front or upper window.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve electric power saving in a small size by constituting the device so that when the concentration of exhaust gas exceeds the limit stipulated in the regulation of exhaust gas, an adsorption cylinder is operated, and when the concentration is within the allowable range, the adsorption cylinder is bypassed to discharge the exhaust gas into space, while when the adsorption cylinder is in a saturated condition, respective inlet, outlet, and bypass open/close valves are closed. CONSTITUTION:When the pressure value from a pressure sensor 9 exceeds the limit stipulated in the regulation of exhaust gas, a control unit 11 closes a bypass open/close valve 8 to pass the exhaust gas through an adsorption cylinder 5, and after harmful substances such as silane have been removed by physical adsorption and chemical impregnation, the exhaust gas is discharged through an exhaust gas line 3 into space. When the pressure value is within the range of exhaust gas regulation, the bypass open/close valve 8 is opened and also an inlet open/close valve 4 is closed, so that the exhaust gas is directly discharged without passing through the adsorption cylinder 5. And, when the saturated condition of the adsorption cylinder 5 is detected from the detected value of a constituent sensor 10, respective open/close valves 4, 6, 8 are closed. By this constitution, miniaturization and electric power saving can be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To extinguished fire along with the disposal of pollutant gas when a fire brakes out in the experimental apparatus of a space vehicle, by stopping air discharge to an outer space when the pollutant concentration in air in closed space is turned into an allowable level or lower, and after that, by permitting air from the closed space, to pass a pollutant gas processor, to adsorb and remove residual pollutant gas. CONSTITUTION:When the pollutant concentration of gas comes to a fixed allowable value on a timing normalize by sequence control, then by this controller, the exhaust gas valve 19a of an exhaust gas pipe 18 communicated with the outer space of a rack 2a is closed, and gas discharge to the outer space is stopped. Then, the exhaust air valve 11a of an exhaust air pipe 10 is opened, and at the same time, valves A, B on both the sides of a processor 25 set bypassing the exhaust air pipe 10 are released, and the valve C of the exhaust air pipe 10 is closed. Air fed to an air blower 7 from the exhaust air valve is permitted to pass the processor 25, and meanwhile, residual fine pollutant substance mixed in the air is adsorbed and is removed therefrom. As a result, a ready-set equipment connected to the rack 2 of a manned space vehicle 4 is effectively used, and even if any fire breaks out in the rack, the fire can be efficiently extinguished.
