摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a roll cleaning device which can sufficiently follow even a deformed roll rotating at high speed, and does not require a large space for its installation or restrict applicable kinds of machines. CONSTITUTION: A roll cleaning device A is composed of a L-shaped or U-shaped frame 1; a blade 8 arranged in the frame with a gap provided around itself; one or more air-tubes 9, 10 which are inserted between the blade 8 and the inner face of the frame 1 and adjustable in inner pressure; and rear supporters 5, 6 or supporting blocks 3, 4 which elastically support the rear part of the blade 8 to give a rotary center to the blade 8. Thus, since the blade 8 si gently and firmly supported through the air-tubes 9, 10, the roll cleaning device A can sufficiently follow even a deformed roll rotating at high speed, and is small in longitudinal dimension.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable an easy adjustment of the vibration cutting tool not to generate abnormal vibrations therein during a cutting operation by forming the cutting tool and supporting members therefor separately and providing a pair of parallel dihedral widths over the whole length of the cutting tool in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:The vibration cutting tool 23 separately formed is provided in the longitudinal direction with a pair of parallel dihedral widths 23g, 23h, which are marked with minimum vibration width points 23b, 23c. The cutting tool 23 is clamped by the supporting members 24, 29 respectively having projections 24a, 24b and 29a, 29b and fixed to a tool holder 15 by means of screws 16. The interval between the projections of each pair is adjusted to the minimum vibration width points by shifting the supporting members along the graduation longitudinally so as to clamp the cutting tool at such a position as can avoid a generation of abnormal noises from the tool vibration.
