摘要： A composite fabric garment includes a first garment portion disposed in one or more upper regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively more likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain, and a second garment portion disposed in one or more lower regions of the fabric garment, i.e. those regions relatively less likely in use to be exposed to wind and rain. The first garment portion is formed of a first composite fabric having first inner and outer fabric layers and a first intermediate barrier layer disposed between and bonded to at least one of the first inner and outer fabric layers, the first intermediate barrier layer being breathable and substantially impermeable to wind and liquid water. The second garment portion is formed of a second composite fabric formed of second inner and outer fabric layers and having predetermined air permeability. In one embodiment, the second garment portion further includes a second intermediate, breathable, air-permeable barrier layer disposed between and bonded to at least one of the second inner and outer fabric layers. In another embodiment, the second garment portion is formed of a composite fabric having controlled air permeability in a non-laminate absent a barrier.

摘要： A clothing material structure of fiber cloth containing PAN series activated carbon includes an air-permeable textile as a support layer and fiber cloth containing PAN series activated carbon as an adsorption layer. The support layer and the adsorption layer are bonded together to form the clothing material suitable for the hunter clothing and the protective clothing by way of bonding or needle punching. Accordingly, when the wearer's body heat and body odor try to pass through the clothing made from the material, the body heat may smoothly pass through the adsorption layer while the body odor is blocked and filtered out by the activated carbon fiber. Thus, the requirements of hunter clothing may be satisfied. Furthermore, the odors or toxins trying to pass through the adsorption layer may be filtered out, and the requirements of the chemically protective clothing and hunter clothing may be satisfied.

摘要： A fabric laminate (10) comprises first and second stretch fabrics (11 and 12) having an intermediate adhesive securement layer (13) between them. The adhesive securement layer (13) is in the form of a regularly repeated pattern which comprises an array of aligned adhesive elements (14) arranged in successive generally horizontally and vertically extending rows. The array of adhesive elements (14) is capable of offering resistance to elongation as the laminate (10) is subjected to distortion, with the pattern having a differential elongation characterized as offering different magnitudes of resistance to elongation when the fabric laminate (10) is subjected to distortion in selected different directions. The adhesive securement layer (13) is predeterminedly oriented in accordance with its differential elongation and the stretch characteristics of fabrics (11,12) such that the resistance to elongation offered by the laminate (10) is determined by the pattern and orientation of the individual adhesive elements (14) in conjunction with the stretch characteristics of the fabrics (11,12). The laminate (10) may be employed to reinforce items of clothing, particularly underwear and the like.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of making a laminate by electrophoretically coating a flat mat made from a material selected from graphite, carbon, and mixtures thereof with an electrophoretable polymer in a non-aqueous system. The polymer is cured and the mat is impregnated with a thermosetable impregnating resin. The impregnating resin is B-staged to form a prepreg and several prepregs are stacked and cured under heat and pressure to form the laminate. Also disclosed is a laminate made by this method.

摘要： Novel carbon-carbon laminate composite materials capable of significantly increased strengths in at least one predetermined direction of load are disclosed. The composites can comprise plies of resin impregnated woven carbon or graphite cloth material in combination with resin impregnated carbon or graphite filament unidirectional tape or can be fabricated from the unidirectional tape alone. Generally the unidirectional reinforcement of the tape plies provides higher strengths and moduli in specific directions which can be controlled during lay up of parts. The processes for obtaining the beneficial increase strength of unidirectional tape ply materials while avoiding fabrication problems resulting therefrom are also disclosed.
