    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power feed system which secures the chargeability of a battery while suppressing the power consumption of an electric load, in the system which feeds power to the electric load from the battery or the like. SOLUTION: The power feed system comprises a generator, a transformation circuit, and the battery. The generator generates the power of a first voltage. The transformation circuit boosts the power of the first voltage to a second voltage. The battery is connected to the generator via the transformation circuit, and accumulates the power of the second voltage which is boosted by the transformation circuit.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader suppressing the increase of time and effort for circuit design and an increase in cost as well as preventing input current from an outside commercial power source from becoming excessive in an all-in-one printer provided with an image forming apparatus and the image reader used by being connected to the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A connector 202 connected to a downstream side of a rectifier circuit 212 in a first circuit substrate 210 and a connector 302 connected to upstream side of a power factor improving circuit 310 are connected by wiring 401. A connector 303 connected to downstream side of the power factor improving circuit 310 and a connector 203 connected to upstream side of a low voltage power source circuit for engine 222 in a second circuit substrate 220 are connected by wiring 402.     • A system for, and method of, combining the outputs of multiple, disparate types of power sources and an isolated converter module employed in the same. In one embodiment, the system includes: (1) a plurality of isolated converter modules having power inputs couplable to corresponding disparate types of power sources and a DC-output converter configured to convert power received from at least one of the power sources to DC power and (2) a DC bus coupled to power outputs of the plurality of isolated converter modules and configured to receive and aggregate the DC power. With such system, a universal converter module can be employed to identify and convert power from a variety of conventional and renewable power sources.
