摘要： It is an object to reliably and swiftly restore voltage of a utility grid, which decreased due to a utility grid failure or the like, to reference voltage. A generating apparatus includes: a generator connected to a utility grid; a voltage detecting section for detecting voltage of a utility grid 2; and a control section 21 for determining reactive current corresponding to the voltage obtained from the voltage detecting section 27 based on voltage current correlation information in which the voltage of the utility grid 2 and the reactive current to be supplied to the utility grid 2 are correlated with each other and controlling the electric power converting section 27 to regulate the reactive current to be supplied to or absorbed from the utility grid 2. The apparatus further includes an information changing section 22 for changing the voltage current correlation information to increase an amount of the reactive current with respect to a variation in the voltage in the voltage current correlation information, in the case where the voltage of the utility grid is not in a predetermined range set in advance after a predetermined time period has passed since the voltage of the utility grid varied by a predetermined amount or more.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system in which current limit performed by pulse width modulation of a solid switch of a solid power controller is not interrupted under conditions that voltage is high and inductance of a power transmission line is low.SOLUTION: The power generation system 100 includes: a power generator 102 supplying power to DC loads 109A, 109B and 109C by a power supply module 107 having the solid power controllers 108A, 108B and 108C; and the decoupling filter 106 which is connected between the power generator 102 and the power supply module 107 and includes an inductor connected in parallel to resistors and the solid switch connected in series. The solid switch of the decoupling filter 106 is opened under a current limit condition of the solid power controller and is closed when the solid power controller is not under the current limit condition.

摘要： An electrical power distribution system includes a dual mode electrical motor/generator, high voltage traction batteries, bi-directional direct current power transmission lines connectable between the dual mode electrical motor/generator and the high voltage traction batteries, first and second isolation contactors including magnetic blow out and connected into the power transmission lines to exhibit opposed polarity and an electrical system controller. In order to deenergize the electrical power distribution system the polarity of current on the bi-directional transmission lines is determined. Once the polarity has been determined the isolation contactor of corresponding polarity is selected to be opened.
