    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved pressure cast lined steel pipes.SOLUTION: Pressure cast lined steel pipes comprise: an annular concrete or mortar liner 14 along an inside diameter; and a metal shell 12 surrounding the liner, wherein the liner 14 is in direct contact with the metal shell 12. The wall thickness of the liner can be from 10 to 50 times the thickness of the metal shell. The pipe may be coated with a dielectric material. A mold assembly used to form the pipe includes: an annular concrete or mortar composition chamber formed between the metal shell and an inner mold member. Pressurized water is used in the mold assembly to pressurize the concrete or mortar composition and exert a desired pressure force onto the metal shell while the composition cures in the mold. Once a desired degree of cure is achieved, the pressure is removed causing the metal shell to exert a desired compression force onto the cured liner.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production line of high temperature resisting alloy furnace pipes and pipe racks for petrochemical industry, in which pieces of equipment in respective processes such as casting, machining, welding, packaging, etc., inspection equipment and monitoring points which are necessary between processes are arranged rationally.SOLUTION: The production line of high temperature resisting alloy furnace pipes and the pipe racks for petrochemical industry includes following processes: a pipeline section is cast into a pipe diameter of 50-300 mm and a pipe length of 3-6 m by a centrifugal casting method, then the loose layer in the internal bore of the pipeline section is machined and removed; a groove is chamfered by a digitally controlled pipe lathe; the pipeline sections of the furnace pipes are welded into long pipes by argon-arc welding; the furnace pipes are manufactured with a welded flanges and joint fittings, and the long pipes of the furnace pipes are welded into the pipe racks. On the line where the furnace pipes and pipe rack products are manufactured via a series of inspections of a chemical composition, ordinary temperature mechanical performance, high temperature mechanical performance, an air pressure test, a hydraulic pressure test, fluorescent penetrant flaw detection, dye penetrant flaw detection, X-ray penetrant flaw detection, appearance check and dimensional check; areas occupied by the pieces of equipment in the respective processes are reduced and production efficiency is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify arrangement of pipes, consequently to reduce the number of parts in an outer cylinder by constructing connecting pipes, an exhaust introducing pipe and a discharge pipe constituting a silencer with a compound pipe made by intergrating adjacently all the pipes or desired pipes. CONSTITUTION:The inside of an outer cylinder 1 forming a silencer body is separated into expansion chambers 2-4 and a resonance chamber 5 by bulkheads 6-8. The expansion chambers 2-4 are communicated with each other by connecting pipes 11-13, and one end of an exhaust introducing pipe 9 is opened to the expansion chamber 3 and one end of a discharge pipe 14 is opened to the expansion chamber 2. In this case, the pipe 9, 11, 12 are integrately formed by a compound pipe A and the pipes 13, 14 are integrately formed by a compound pipe B. And the compound pipe A is formed by, for example, preparing a connecting pipe portion A11 on the center of one side of a common face portion A1, and an almost a convex shape black BL made by extending an exhaust introducing pipe A9 and a connecting pipe portion A12 on the front and the portions of the other side, and bending these portions so that respective pipe parts are superposed.
