    • A driving apparatus of a liquid crystal display device for reducing or automatically restoring a driving current of a light source by being inversed or re-inversed a phase of a driving current with which a light source of a liquid crystal display device is supplied by the human body is disclosed.In the driving apparatus of the liquid crystal display device, a driving controller reduces or restores a duty ratio of a driving control signal which controls a generation of a driving current of a backlight assembly in accordance with whether a predetermined enable signal is applied or not. A master inverter reduces or restores a level of a driving current of the backlight assembly in accordance with a duty ratio of a driving control signal from the driving controller. A slave inverter reduces or restores a level of a driving current of the backlight assembly in accordance with a duty ratio of the driving control signal. And a current limiting circuit applies the predetermined enable signal to a ground or the driving controller in accordance with a phase of feedback currents of the master inverter and the slave inverter.

    • In a driving circuit and method for preventing a lamp from blasting, a driving circuit includes a control circuit module, a voltage conversion circuit module, a driving module and a feedback circuit. The control circuit module outputs a first control signal according to a predetermined setting. The voltage conversion circuit module receives the first control signal and converts the first control signal into a second control signal. The driving module receives the second control signal and generates a driving signal according to the second control signal for driving the lamp. The feedback circuit electrically couples to one of the control circuit module, the voltage conversion circuit module and the driving module for receiving a feedback signal therefrom. The feedback signal is transmitted to the control circuit module, so that the control circuit module may adjust the first control signal according to the feedback signal.

    • A luminaire can comprise an electronic circuit, such as an LED driver or electronic ballast. A surge protection device in the current path between a power supply and the luminaire components can be configured to protect the electronic circuitry by absorbing and/or redirecting energy of a surge by switching into a low-impedance state while maintaining the protected circuitry (including its internal protective components, if any) in a high-impedance state. The surge protection device can comprise a MOV stage and a filter stage, for example. The surge protection device can be configured as a replaceable module, with the luminaire including an assembly designed to receive the module and allow for easy replacement over the useful life of the other components. Use of fuses or thermal components may cause the surge protection device to interrupt power flow if protection is lost due to internal failure, indicating when module replacement is needed.

    • A light source simulating device comprises a circuit board, at least a conductor and at least a resistor. The circuit board has a first surface. The conductor is disposed on the first surface of the circuit board. The resistor is also disposed on the first surface of the circuit board and connected in series to a high voltage end and a low voltage end of the light source simulating device by the conductor for simulating the light source. The light source simulating device in the present invention simulates the light source by the resistor and replaces the actual discharge lamps, which have lower cost, smaller test place and higher test reliability of the inverter.
