摘要： The invention relates to a safety device, in particular for ensuring protection of a loom of cables. The safety device comprises a strip fuse comprising at least two connection contacts. According to the invention, at least one connection piece is firmly arranged in an electrically conductive manner on at least one connection contact. The strip fuse and area of placement of the connection contacts and the connection piece are sealed at least in sections with the aid of an electrically insulating material. The protective device is embodied in a simple manner and can thus be produced economically.

摘要： An electrically conductive metal plate is stamped out to yield a fuse unit including an input terminal and several output terminals. The fuse unit further includes a predetermined locus where fuse element portions are to be formed later. A surface area of the fuse unit including the predetermined locus is then molded with an insulator material. Thereafter, the fuse element portions are formed at the predetermined locus by, for example, stamping. In this manner, the fuse unit can be manufactured easily at low costs, irrespective of the number and electrical capacity of the fuse element portions.

摘要： A fuse box device is provided that includes a fuse box and a fuse unit contained therein. The fuse unit includes an input terminal directly connectable to a battery, several output terminals connectable to a wire harness, and several fuse element portions. One end of the fuse element portions is formed unitarily and in one piece with the input terminal, while the other end of the fuse element portions is formed unitarily and in one piece with the output terminals. The fuse unit is contained in the fuse box such that only the input terminal projects out of the fuse box. In such a construction, the fuse box device requires a reduced number of spare parts, so that production costs can be lowered. Moreover, the fuse box device is better suited to a miniaturization and less susceptible to assembly errors.

摘要： There is disclosed an arcless fuse in which adverse effects on an equipment due to an arc discharge, produced when the fuse is melted, are prevented, and also melted metal is prevented from dissipating. An arcless fuse includes a fuse element 25 having opposite ends connected respectively to a pair of terminals 23 and 23, the fuse element being in the form of one of a wire and a strip. A part of the fuse element 25 intermediate the opposite ends thereof is formed into such a non-linear configuration that a plurality of portions are arranged in closely spaced relation to one another, and the fuse element 25 is molded in a housing 27 of a synthetic resin. Preferably, an amorphous resin is used as the synthetic resin molding the fuse element 25 therein.

摘要： A miniature end capless fuse comprises a nonconductive sleeve with a fusible element extending through it and leads to the ends of the fuse wire. Each electric lead to the fuse wire includes a deformed region near its end, but located outside the sleeve, for being held by insulating material applied over the entire fuse. The deformed region may be an enlargement at the end which does not extend into the sleeve but is attached to the end of the sleeve. It may alternately be a notch formed in the lead. The sleeve ends are metallized, the fusible element ends are soldered to the ends of the sleeve and the leads near their deformed regions are soldered to the ends of the sleeve, forming the fuse. The entire fuse is covered with a strengthening covering, e.g., a molded covering, which securely holds the leads to the sleeve by their deformed regions, e.g. their enlargements or notches.
