摘要： An optical system of a head mounted display is provided to minimize optical aberration such as chromatic and spherical aberration by installing a display element, a hybrid lens, and an eyepiece. An optical system of a head mounted display includes a display unit(30), a hybrid lens(31), and an eyepiece(32). The hybrid lens disposed along the axis of image beams generated from the display unit guides the image beams to the eyepiece by refracting the image beams from the display unit. The eyepiece provided in front of the hybrid lens focuses the image beams from the hybrid lens to eyes of users. The eyepiece includes a glass lens with rotationally symmetric spherical input and output surfaces, and a plastic portion with a rotationally symmetric non-spherical surface in contact with the glass lens. Input and output surfaces of the eyepiece are implemented with a rotationally symmetric spherical surface.

摘要： A control for a virtual reality (VR) system environment includes a portion and an additional portion each configured to contact different portions of a user's body. As one of the portions of the user's body moves towards the other pottion of the user's body, the corresponding portion of the material contacting the moving portion of the user's body also moves towards the other portion of the material contacting the other portion of the user's body. Different positions of the portion and the additional portion relative to each other may correspond to different instructions that cause the VR system environment to perform different actions. In some embodiments, the control includes one or more feedback mechanisms providing the user with tactile feedback that simulates interactions with one or more virtual objects presented by the VR system environment.

摘要： An optical system includes a first deformable lens having a membrane with a deformable portion and having a filler material. The optical system also includes a corrective fixed lens. A sensor is configured to receive the light focused by the first deformable lens. An optical path extends through the first deformable lens and to the sensor. The first deformable lens is tuned according to an applied electrical signal in order to directly focus light traversing the optical path onto the sensor. The corrective fixed lens is integral with the first deformable lens and the corrective fixed lens is in direct contact with the filler material of the deformable lens where the light passes through, and is configured to correct monochromatic or polychromatic aberrations.
