    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant deterioration sensor capable of immediately identifying the kind and the quantity of a contaminant in a lubricant of a machine.SOLUTION: A lubricant deterioration sensor 139b installed in a machine body for detecting deterioration of a lubricant 131a in the machine body comprises a gap forming member 60 with which an oil gap 60a is formed as a gap through which the lubricant 131a is infiltrated, a supporting member 30 which supports a white LED 72, an RGB sensor 73 and the gap forming member 60, and a casing 20 to be fixed to the machine body. Light emitted by the white LED 72 is transmissive through the gap forming member 60, and the oil gap 60a is disposed on an optical path from the white LED 72 to the RGB sensor 73. The casing 20 includes a screw part 21 in contact with the machine body on the outside, and the supporting member 30 is disposed inside of the screw part 21 while being separated from the screw part 21 so as to dispose at least a part of the optical path inside of the screw part 21.
