    • A building element of wood intended to be stacked on top of each other in order to form a wall of a building. The invention is characterised in that the element (1) is longitudinally extended and has a rectangular cross-section, in that the element is designed with a protruding pointed piece (2) at its first end and designed with a point-shaped cavity (3) at its second end, in that the pointed piece (2) and the point-shaped cavity (3) have the same shape such that the pointed piece of a first element fits into the said cavity of a second element, and in that penetrating holes (4) are formed by building elements (1) that lie on top of and adjacent to each other, and in that fixing means (7) are available in order to fix neighbouring building elements to each other.

    • A kind of block for building wall and the wall built with said blocks. There are many analogous blocks laid to overlap and stagger with upper/nether block continuously in said wall. The block extends lengthways and comprises top surface (1), bottom surface (2) and two end surfaces (3); the cross section thereof on the whole is a converse trumpet shape; the top surface (1) has a mid ridge (4) higher than the two sides of the surface so as to form the left/right supporting slope (5); the top surface (1) and the bottom surface (2) are formed in this way: when a block overlap with a analogous block thereunder to form a wall, the left and right supporting slope (5) become a blocking structure to lock the two blocks neighbored up and down, the raised dimension of the mid ridge (4) can cut off space-time trochoid. This invention also provides the assistant blocks, which cooperate with said blocks when building wall.

    • A block construction system includes interlocking, self-aligning blocks that can be used to construct structures with mortarless joints. A typical block has a top face that is formed with a raised, substantially flat horizontal portion that extends between a pair of longitudinally aligned rounded edges. Longitudinally aligned horizontal stop surfaces extend from each rounded edge. A bottom face of the block is formed with a pair of longitudinally aligned stop surfaces and a substantially flat portion that is positioned between and recessed from the stop surfaces. For two stacked blocks, the recessed portion of the top block receives and engages the raised portion of the bottom block preventing lateral movement of one block relative to the other. To interlock adjacent blocks on a common course, one end face of each block is formed with a vertically aligned tongue and the other end face is formed with a corresponding groove.

    • A composite lightweight building element comprises a first layer of aggregate based material (7, 8 and 9) extruded, sprayed, molded or cast onto a lightweight base form (1) which becomes an integral part of the element. This element can be manufactured in a panel to emulate common face brick (52), a smooth or chipped surfaced cut stone (60) or a floor tile. Integral with the first and second layers are cooperating dovetail ridges and grooves (4) respectively which serve to provide mechanical locking between the layers and a strengthening to the first layer. Integral with the second layer are male and female interlocking members (6 and 6a) to facilitate installation, to resist air or water infiltration between the panels and to provide mechanical locking between panels.

    • Each module includes a block body and an outer wear surface joined by one or more separator webs. The block body either is massive as constructed, or receives a massive filling, such as concrete, at the job site. Provision is also made for providing a filling of thermal insulation such as foamed synthetic plastic for the module. Modules are stacked and coursed to make walls. Mortar may be used between adjacent modules, and/or the module walls may be facially coated with a substance which securely interconnects the modules. Such walls have a high interior mass, insulated on the exterior and protected exteriorly of the insulation by the wear surface. The high mass tends to assume room temperature and perform as a thermal energy flywheel. Some measures for partial prefabrication of module parts are disclosed.
