    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine using a check valve for closing a resin passage with the reverse rotation of a screw, wherein the reverse rotation amount of the screw is optimally adjusted in the reverse rotation process of the screw.
      SOLUTION: When the resin passage of the check valve is opened, the backflow of a resin is produced during forward movement of the screw. The backflow of the resin gives the force of reverse rotation on the screw. On the other hand, when the resin passage is closed, no backflow of the resin is produced and the force of reverse rotation on the screw is greatly reduced. After the screw is reversely rotated in a predetermined amount after completing measurement but before injection, and then the screw is moved forward (103, 104). At this time, a maximum value for the force of reverse rotation on the screw is detected (105-108). Until the detected maximum force of reverse rotation gets to a reference value or smaller, the reverse rotation amount is increased sequentially (109, 115) and each molding cycle is executed. When the detected maximum force of reverse rotation gets to the reference value or smaller (the passage is closed), the reverse rotation amount at this time is a reverse rotation amount in the reverse rotation process. It can be automatically adjusted to an optimum reverse rotation amount.

    • PURPOSE: An injection-molding machine is provided to increase the mechanical efficiency of an injection-molding machine, decrease the inertia, and decrease the axial length. CONSTITUTION: An injection-molding machine comprises a cylinder member; an injection member disposed within the cylinder member such that the injection member can advance and retract; an injection motor(82); and a transmission shaft connected to the injection member such that the transmission shaft can rotate relative to the injection member. The transmission shaft has a rotation transmission portion for transmitting rotation of the injection motor, as well as a motion conversion portion for converting rotational motion to linear motion. The injection motor and the transmission shaft are disposed on the same axis, and the transmission shaft is advanced and retracted inside a rotor(92) of the injection motor. Since the rotation of the injection motor is transmitted directly to the transmission shaft without intervention of a speed reduction mechanism, a pulley, and the like, mechanical efficiency can be improved, and inertia can be decreased. Further, the time required for changeover from the injection stage to the pressure holding stage is shortened. Since the transmission shaft is advanced and retracted inside the rotor of the injection motor, the injection-molding machine can be reduced in axial length.
