The head apparel includes headwear having an outer surface and an opening that exposes an interior surface configured to receive the head of the wearer. The headwear also includes a restraining device attached to the outer surface of the headwear. The restraining device has a first state in which a length of the restraining device extends from the headwear and is configured to engage a stationary object to restrain the head against the stationary object. The restraining device has a second state in which the length of the restraining device is substantially secured to the headwear.

The headwear articles according to the invention have the dual function in that they are useful as feeders or shelters for small birds and other animals, and thus include at least one hole in either of the top portion, a right side portion, a left side portion, a front portion, and a rear portion to enable birds and/or small animals to enter the article when it is placed in a location where such small animals inhabit.

摘要： A convertible hat and bag assembly is formed from a first, hat-shaped layer and a separate, bag-shaped enclosure secured around part of its area to the peripheral edge of the hat-shaped layer to form a double layer over at least part of the area of the enclosure. The bag-shaped enclosure can be stowed inside the hat-shaped layer in order to use the assembly as a hat, while the assembly can be turned inside out with the bag-shaped enclosure outermost and the hat-shaped layer stowed inside the enclosure in order to use the assembly as a bag. The bag enclosure may be in the form of a small bag layer secured around its periphery to the periphery of the hat layer, and may have straps for wearing around the waist. In another version, the bag is a tubular member with closed ends and the hat layer is sewn inside the bag across one of the closed ends.

摘要： A combined hat and throwable amusement device is disclosed wherein the hat when immersed in water obtains an aerodynamic stability whereby the hat may be sailed through the air as a saucer-like amusement device. The combined hat and throwable amusement device comprises a hat crown having an inverted bowl shape with a top region and a lower terminating edge. A substantially symmetrical hat brim extends from the terminating edge of the hat crown. The improvement comprises a plurality of slot apertures uniformly located about the hat crown with each of the slot apertures extending partially between the top region and the lower terminating edge of the hat crown. The plurality of slot apertures enable air currents to flow through the slot apertures to increase the aerodynamic stability of the device when the device is sailed through the air. The device includes a bouyant hat band to provide flotation to the device upon immersion in water. The foregoing abstract is merely a resume of one general application, is not a complete discussion of all principles of operation or application, and is not to be construed as a limitation on the scope of the claimed subject matter.

The cape body is divided at its front and provided with fastener means. The garment can be made wholly or partly from sheet plastic material or from suitable water repellent fabric.
