摘要： A ceramic-capacitor (10) includes a first electrically-conductive-layer (14), a second electrically-conductive-layer (18) arranged proximate to the first electrically-conductive-layer (14), and a dielectric-layer (16) interposed between the first electrically-conductive-layer (14) and the second electrically-conductive-layer (18). The dielectric-layer (16) is formed of a lead-lanthanum-zirconium-titanate material (PLZT), wherein the PLZT is characterized by a dielectric-constant greater than 125, when measured at 25 degrees Celsius and zero Volts bias, and an excitation frequency of ten-thousand Hertz (10kHz). A method (20) for increasing a dielectric constant of the lead-lanthanum-zirconium-titanate material (PLZT) includes the steps of depositing PLZT to form a dielectric-layer (16) of a ceramic-capacitor (10), and heating the ceramic-capacitor (10) to a temperature not greater than 300° C.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for producing Cu67 radioisotope suitable for use in medical applications. The method comprises irradiating a metallic zinc-68 (Zn68) target within a sealed ceramic capsule with a high energy gamma ray beam. After irradiation, the Cu67 is isolated from the Zn68 by any suitable method (e.g. chemical and or physical separation). In a preferred embodiment, the Cu67 is isolated by sublimation of the zinc in a ceramic sublimation tube to afford a copper residue containing Cu67. The Cu67 can be further purified by chemical means.

摘要： A method and system are provided for operating refueling station tube-trailers and compressors to reduce hydrogen refueling cost. A hydrogen refueling station includes a two-tier fuel supply of pressure vessels on a refueling station tube-trailer, with a first tier and a second tier of pressure vessels including at least one or more pressure vessels connected together. A separate control unit is coupled to the first tier and the second tier of pressure vessels with each of the control units coupled to a compressor. The compressor is coupled to a high pressure buffer storage by a separate control unit. In operation, pressure is monitored in the each tier. Hydrogen is consolidated selectively between the first tier of pressure vessel banks, the second tier pressure vessels, and the high pressure buffer. Based upon monitored pressures, one of the first tier of pressure vessels, the second tier pressure vessel banks, and the high pressure buffer is used to refuel vehicles.

摘要： A method of fabricating a foam includes providing a foam comprising a base material. The base material is coated with an inorganic material using at least one of an atomic layer deposition (ALD), a molecular layer deposition (MLD), or sequential infiltration synthesis (SIS) process. The SIS process includes at least one cycle of exposing the foam to a first metal precursor for a first predetermined time and a first partial pressure. The first metal precursor infiltrates at least a portion of the base material and binds with the base material. The foam is exposed to a second co-reactant precursor for a second predetermined time and a second partial pressure. The second co-reactant precursor reacts with the first metal precursor, thereby forming the inorganic material on the base material. The inorganic material infiltrating at least the portion of the base material. The inorganic material is functionalized with a material.
