摘要： The present invention is directed to compositions comprising a first component, a second component, and elastomeric particles. The first component comprises an epoxy-containing compound. The second component comprises a diamine comprising a cyclic ring and/or a polyamine comprising a cyclic ring. The diamine may chemically react with the epoxy-containing compound. Optionally, the cyclic ring of the diamine and/or the polyamine has at least one carbon positioned between the amino functional groups and the cyclic ring structure. Optionally, at least 50% by weight of the elastomeric particles comprise a styrene butadiene core based on total weight of the elastomeric particles. The present invention is also directed to methods of making the compositions, methods of coating a substrate, and coated substrates.

摘要： Cure-on-demand, moisture-curable, urethane-containing prepolymers having urethanes incorporated into a sulfur-containing prepolymer backbone and compositions thereof for use in sealant applications are disclosed. The cure-on-demand moisture-curable urethane-containing prepolymers are terminated with polyalkoxysilyl groups. The compositions contain a controlled-release moisture cure catalyst. Compositions containing the prepolymers provide cured sealants exhibiting improved tensile strength.

摘要： Reactive antioxidants, antioxidant-containing prepolymers, compositions containing reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers, methods of synthesizing reactive antioxidants and reactive antioxidant-containing prepolymers and the use of reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers in aerospace sealant applications are disclosed. Reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers can be added to a curable composition and react with a curing agent to become incorporated into the cured polymer network. Antioxidant-containing prepolymers have antioxidants incorporated into the backbone of the prepolymer. Cured sealant compositions comprising reactive antioxidants and antioxidant-containing prepolymers exhibit enhanced thermal resistance.
