摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for beam selection procedures. In one aspect, a UE can determine whether a beam metric value for a candidate beam is greater than a sum of a beam metric value for a current beam and a hysteresis threshold value. In some aspects, the hysteresis threshold value can be based on one or more UE parameters and the hysteresis threshold value can change based on a UE operating estimate. Additionally, the UE can select the candidate beam for communication when the beam metric value for the candidate beam is greater than the sum of the beam metric value for the current beam and the hysteresis threshold value. The UE can also communicate using the candidate beam based on the selection of the candidate beam.

In inter-band carrier aggregation (i.e., one or more component carriers in one frequency band and one or more component carriers in another frequency band), CDRX can be configured per band. For mixed numerologies carrier aggregation (i.e., one or more component carriers with a first numerology and one or more component carriers with a different numerology), CDRX can be configured per cell group, where each cell group contains a single numerology or mixed numerologies.

Additionally, the UE can transmit a beam report to the base station, during the off period, based on the comparison of the first metric of the at least one of the plurality of candidate beams and the second metric of the current beam. For example, the UE may determine to conserve power based on one or more of a data traffic type, a battery level, a channel condition, a retransmission policy, or physical layer activities.

The UE perform a search procedure for a first synchronization signal block (SSB) to detect a first beam of a base station. The UE may estimate a second timing offset for a second SSB from the base station based on the first timing offset. The UE may perform a measurement procedure for the second SSB to detect a second beam of the base station based on the second timing offset. The UE may prune fake beams based on synchronization signals used for the measurement procedure.

摘要： Different sets of downlink control information (DCI) fields may be configured for DCI that includes an indication to trigger bandwidth part switching at a user equipment (UE). For example, a UE may receive DCI that triggers the UE to switch operation from a first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part. The UE may also identify a set of transformable DCI fields and a set of non-transformable DCI fields within the DCI. The UE may then determine updated content of the DCI for application to the second bandwidth part based on whether DCI fields are included in the set of transformable or the set of non-transformable fields. In some cases, the UE may identify a null assignment in the received DCI and may switch its operation from the first bandwidth part to the second bandwidth part based on the null assignment.
