    • A heat pump cooling-heating-dehumidifying system for an electric vehicle includes a compressor for compressing refrigerant, a refrigerant throttling device for achieving pressure reduction of the refrigerant, an out-room air-heat exchanger for heat-exchanging between the refrigerant and outside air, a first in-room air-heat exchanger for heat-exchanging between the refrigerant and air to be introduced into a car room, a second in-room air-heat exchanger provided downstream of the first in-room air-heat exchanger for selectively heat-exchanging between the refrigerant and the air which was heat-exchanged at the first in-room air-heat exchanger, and a four-way switching valve for switching a flow passage of the refrigerant. In each of the cooling operation and the dehumidifying-heating operation of the system, the refrigerant is circulated through the flow passage in order of the compressor, the second in-room air-heat exchanger, the four-way switching valve, the out-room air-heat exchanger, the refrigerant throttling device, the first in-room air-heat exchanger, the four-way switching valve and then the compressor. On the other hand, during the heating operation of the system, the refrigerant is circulated through the flow passage in order of the compressor, the second in-room air-heat exchanger, the four-way switching valve, the first in-room air-heat exchanger, the refrigerant throttling device, the out-room air-heat exchanger, the four-way switching valve and then the compressor.

    • A frame synchronizer is adapted to receive an incoming high-speed TDM (time division multiplex) signal of a framed structure containing, at frame intervals, a sequence of identical synchronization bit patterns and a sequence of byte-length data signals. A demultiplexer decomposes the high speed TDM signal into the synchronization bit patterns and the byte-length data signals and supplies them as low-speed frames to output ports. A plurality of bit pattern detectors are provided for respectively detecting different bit patterns which are successively obtained from the decomposed synchronization bit patterns when timing of the demultiplexer is successively delayed or advanced with respect to the incoming TDM signal. Each of the different bit patterns is an n-bit shifted version of the decomposed synchronization bit patterns, where n is an integer representing the amount of the delay or advance. In accordance with the detected different bit patterns, the timing of the demultiplexer is controlled.

    • A frame synchronizer comprises a frame sync detector for detecting a frame sync pattern multiplexed with a data signal. First and second counters are incremented in response to an input clock signal to generate output signals at frame intervals. A mismatch detector detects a first mismatch between the output of sync detector and the output of first counter and a second mismatch between the sync detector output and the output of second counter. To reduce resynchronization period, the second counter is disabled in response to the detection of the second mismatch and its binary count is loaded into the first counter upon detection of the first mismatch. According to a different aspect, a bit synchronizer includes a plurality of latches connected to a data input terminal for respectively latching a data signal in response to a latch timing signal applied thereto. A mismatch detector is provided for detecting a mismatch between outputs of the latches. The detection of the mismatch indicates that data and clock inputs has lost bit synchronization and the latch timing pulse is approaching a data transition. Clock input is normally applied from an input terminal to the latches as the latch timing signal. Upon detection of a mismatch, the phase, or logic level of the latch timing signal is reversed to shift is timing to a point where the data signal has a steady logic level.

    • Stabilizers for chlorine-containing resins, derived from pentaerythritol and/or polypentaerythritols, which comprises at least one member selected from (1), a dehydration condensation product of pentaerythritol or polypentaerythritol, (2) a partial esterification product of pentaerythritol, polypentaerythritol or the dehydration condensation product with an aliphatic polybasic acid, (3) a partial esterification product of polypentaerythritol or the dehydration condensation product with an aromatic mono- or poly-basic acid, and (4) a partial esterification product of pentaerythritol, polypentaerythritol or the dehydration condensation product with an aliphatic or aromatic polybasic acid and a higher fatty acid. The stabilizers have the excellent effect of stabilizing chlorine-containing resins, and particularly the combination use with known organic zinc salt stabilizers brings excellent results.
