    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance vibration damping performance of a vibration control shape in the vibration control shape formed by sticking vibration control resin on a hollow shape with high rigidity constituted of a rib connecting a pair of face plates therewith. SOLUTION: The thickness t1 of a rib 1 of a hollow shape is formed thinner than the thickness t2 of face plates 2, and vibration control resin 3 is stuck thereon. The thickness t1 of the rib 1 is formed thinner than the thickness t2 of the face plates 2 to make it possible to further enhance vibration damping performance additional efficiency by sticking the vibration control resin on the flat section of the rib. Since static rigidity of the hollow shape is not so relied on the thickness t1 of the rib 1, high vibration damping performance can be obtained without lowering the rigidity of the hollow shape so much. When the vibration control resins is also stuck on the insides of the face plates 2, the coincidence phenomenon is controlled, and the generation of the lowering phenomenon in sound transmission loss in specific frequency area can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a vibration restraining device which can cope with the change of an ambient temperature in use. CONSTITUTION: Two sheets of plate springs 12 and 13 different in thickness are projected in parallel, keeping an interval with each other in both right and left directions from the support 14 provided on an structure 11, and these plate springs 12 and 13 are joined with each other into stratified form by viscous elastic member 19, and plumbs 17 are attached, severally, to the free end of the plate spring 12, and the plate springs 12 and 13, the viscous elastic material 18, and the plumb 17 are arranged symmetrically about the support 14. By constituting this vibration restraint, with two sheets of plate springs 12 and 13 different in thickness, the position of the viscoelastic material 18 is separated from the position of the center axis of the plate spring structure, so the influence of the modulus of rigidity of the viscoelastic material 18 having on the natural frequency of the plate spring structure becomes small, and the change of the natural frequency of the plate spring accompanying the temperature change decreases. Accordingly, this can exhibit stable performance practically without being affected by the ambient temperature used.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent radiating noise, vibration unpleasantless, rattling and the like of furniture by joining a plurality of plate springs together in a laminate manner with viscoelastic body or viscous body, and fixing a dynamic vibration reducer with weights disposed at the ends thereof to a steel frame and/or steel bars. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 and bars 2 are formed of a steel plate having a groove- shaped cross section. A wooden surface member 4 is fixed to a frame body which is constituted of the steel frame 1 and the plurality of steel bars 2 disposed across the frame 1. A dynamic vibration reducer 9 is attached to a flange of the bar 2. If impulsive excitation force due to jumping, running and the like of a person is exerted on the panel surface member on a floor, the frame body and the surface member are freely vibrated in an integral manner. A plate spring or the like of the dynamic vibration reducer is resonantly vibrated due to the vibration of the steel frame 1 and/or the steel bars 2, and vibration energy of the steel frame 1 and the steel bars 2 is converted into thermal energy owing to shear deformation of a viscoelastic body according to the change of the plate spring due to the resonant vibration, to be discharged to the atmosphere. Consequently, it is possible to restrain vibration of the floor panel.
