A subscriber address 3 is given to be arranged for each constituting unit 4 connecting to the subscriber terminal 1 and its length depends on the number of stages of the hierarchy of the constitution units 4. When it is required to accommodate a new subscriber terminal to the network, for example, the constitution unit 6 is connected newly to the subscriber terminal allocated line of the constitution unit 4 of the lowest hierarchy order and the new subscriber terminal, is accommodated in the constitution unit 4.

    • PURPOSE:To optimize the reconstitution of high speed digital network by generating an optimum constitution table corresponding to a fault of a relay line by a network management unit and distributing the table to each multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:The network management unit 500 generates optimum network constitution information at normal state and at relay line fault. Then the network constitution information by each fault location is distributed to each multiplexer through a management information network 600. Then the multiplexer stores the bits of network constitution information used at normal state to a memory of the multiplexers 100, 200 as constitution tables 160, 260. On the other hand, the bits of network constitution information at a fault state are stored in floppy disk drivers 180, 280 connected to the multiplexers 100, 200. When the unit 500 detects a fault and identifies the faulty line, the multiplexers 100, 200, according to the command of the unit 500, the bits of network reconstitution information corresponding to the line fault are loaded to the memory in the multiplexers 100, 200 by the drivers 180, 280 as tables 160, 260. The network is reconstituted by the procedure above.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize an answer time by adding a function to a communication control processor set on the route between a terminal and a computer of the remote side to select a using circuit according to the answer data value received in a key-in mode of the terminal. CONSTITUTION:The inquiry data produced by a terminal 7 is once delivered to a communication control processor 6 and then transferred to a communication control processor 3 via a satellite circuit 8 or a ground circuit 9 to finally reach a host computer 4. The processor 6 compares the value of a control part showing the answer data value of an information part of a received frame with the threshold answer data value designated previously. If the answer data value of the control part is larger than the threshold value, the circuit 8 is recorded to a using circuit identifying code part of a routing table. While codes 0 and 1 showing allocation of the circuit 9 are recorded to said code part when the answer date value of the control part is smaller than the threshold value. Thus the answer data is sent to the circuit 8 with the code 0 and to the circuit 9 with the code 1 respectively.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a throughput or efficiency in a transmission line from being lowered, by resending only a frame in which an error is generated normally, and resending all the frames after the frame in which the error is generated, when the number of erroneous frames exceed a regulated value continuously. CONSTITUTION:In a normal operation, only the erroneous frame is resent, and also at the same time, a system is regulated by a Selective Repeat ARQ possible to perform plural number of resending requests. And when the number of continuous erroneous frames exceed the regulated value, all of the frames after the frame in which the error is generated, are resent by logic link unit sharing a data link. The system is switched to a Go-Back-N ARQ system, then a resending is performed. In this way, data to be resent is the one that is transmitted by logic links 10-12 sharing a channel, and for example, when the error is generated in the logic link 10 which transmits the data belonging to an application program 7, only the data of the logic link 10 is resent, therefore, it is not necessary to resend the data transmitted by other logic links.
