摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel product for laser cutting, in which laser absorptivity is improved and excel lent laser cutting property is stably provided by increasing the equivalent of steel component with laser cutting property among steel components and also controlling the laser absorption parameter of surface characteristic of the steel product to a value in an optimum range. SOLUTION: Steel components and surface characteristic are regulated so that they satisfy inequality (Eeq- LS)×(Ab- LS)>=30, where Eeq- LS is an equivalent of steel component with superior laser cutting property and Ab- LS is a laser absorption parameter and they are determined, respectively, by equations Eeq- LS =2.2C-0.8Si-0.1Mn+1.3Cu-+0.9Ni-0.4Cr+0.1Mo+0.3 and Ab- LS=3.15Ra+0.39 (t/Ra)+48 [where each component element represents its percentage by mass, Ra is the roughness (center line average height) (μm) of surface of the steel product, and (t) is scale thickness (μm) at the surface of the steel product]. By this method, the laser absorptivity of the surface of the steel product can be improved and a streak pitch can be made fine, and the steel product excellent in laser cutting property can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE: To produce a high tensile strength steel plate with high toughness and low yield ratio by performing tempering treatment with industrially maximum efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A steel, in which precipitation hardening elements, such as Nb and V, are not added and Mo and B are added to improve hardenability, is rolled. The resulting steel plate is water-cooled from 780-700 deg.C or is air-cooled, after rolling, down to ordinary temp., reheated to 700-780 deg.C, and then water- cooled from that temp. The surface and rear surface of this steel plate are descaled, and then, a fire resisting paint is applied to the peripheral ends of the steel plate and dried. This steel plate is introduced into a heat treatment furnace heated to 800-1000 deg.C, where it is heated at >=0.3 deg.C/sec temp. rise rate. After the surface temp. reaches a temp. between (A1 point -200 deg.C) and (A, point + 50 deg.C), the steel plate is taken out from the furnace without delay and then air-cooled or water-cooled. By this method, the high tensile strength steel plate with low yield ratio can be produced by rapid tempering.
