CONSTITUTION: After water is boiled by electrifying a heating heater 4 and a heat insulating heater 5 corresponding to temperature information from a temperature sensor 6 fitted at the lower part of a vessel 2, only the heat insulating heater 5 is further electrified for prescribed time. The temperature after the lapse of prescribed time is decided stable and heat is insulated at the temperature lower than the temperature data of the temperature sensor 6 just for the prescribed temperature. In this case, the electric hot-water heater is also provided with a means for deciding the stability of temperature corresponding to the time of increase to the prescribed temperature at the time of continuous heating after the detection of boiling, means for deciding the stability of temperature by comparing the time required for the increase to the prescribed temperature with the passage of time, and means for performing continuous heating by electrifying the heating heater 4.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the operability of an electric water heater by automatically starting to heat upon the detection of the supply of water after detecting low-water. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises temperature detecting means 3 for detecting the temperature of a liquid in a container 1, heating means 2 for heating the liquid in the container 1, energizing means 4 for supplying electricity to the heating means 2, drive means 5 for driving the energizing means 4, and measuring means 7 for measuring the time required for a predetermined temperature increase. The device further comprises stopping means 6 continuously stopping the driving of the energizing means 4 if the time measured by the measuring means 7 is less than a predetermined value, and control means 8 for discontinuing the stopping of the energizing means 4 by the stopping means 6 upon detection of a temperature decrease to a predetermined temperature within a first predetermined time following the start of the stopping by the stopping means 6.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a switch for a small current and to realize a compact and lightweight size and a low cost of a controller by connecting a power switch to the output side of a DC power supply instead of connecting to an AC power supply in series. CONSTITUTION:A power supply switch A is connected at just the rear side of the output of a DC power supply 2, a power supply switch B is connected at just the rear side of the output of a detecting circuit 5, and the both switches are turned on and off linking each other. And when the power supply switch A is opened, an AC power supply 3 is converted to a DC power by the DC power supply 2, and fed to a driving circuit 4 and the detecting circuit 5. The detecting circuit 5 detects the temperature of a heater 6, outputs a signal of the data to the driving circuit 4, and gives the signal to a transistor 7 for driving a realy to control the ON/OFF of a relay contact 8a. And when the power supply switch A is closed, a voltage is not fed to the driving circuit 4 and the detecting circuit 5 because the AC power supply and the DC power supply are short-circuited to the GND, the relay contact 8a is left as being opened, and the heater 6 is left as being OFF.
