摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent gypsum scale deposition on the upper portion of oxidation tower which oxidizes CaSO3-contg. slurry to form gypsum by supplying slurry upwardly from the lower center of the oxidation tower and by protecting the tower internal wall with slurry flow. CONSTITUTION:In desulfurization of CaSO3-contg. slurry using air oxidation to form gypsum (CaSO4), the slurry 1 is charged from the lower center of oxidation tower 2 through pipe 8 directing upwardly. At the same time, compressed air is blown from rotary atomizer 4 at the bottom of the tower to allow air bubbles to rise up, cuasing convection flow 5 of the slurry to be oxidized and precipitate gypsum. At this time, a part of the slurry is raised by pump 10 to the top of the tower. Device 13 to form liquid layer on the tower internal wall is used to flow the slurry on the wall at a rate of 5m /mH per unit length or more, so that precipitated gypsum is prevented from depositing on the wall as scale.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the reactive effect of an absorbent by a mechanism wherein a slurry of an absorbent comprising lime stone which has absorbed an exhaust gas and dolomite is divided into two streams by a hydrocyclone and an unreacted absorbent stream is used as an absorbent. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas 1 containing SO2, HCl, HF is intriduced into an exhaust gas absorbing tower 3 through a flue 2. The above described impurities is detected by a concentration detector 4 and the lime stone corresponding to the SO2 quantity and the dolomite corresponding to the amount such that the total amount of HCl and HF is below the Mg amount within the delomite are supplied to an absorbing tower 3. Subsequently, an absorbent slurry absorbing SO2, HCl, HF is drawn from a line 14 and introduced into a hydrocyclone 16, thereafter divided into an upper outflow slurry 17 and a lower outflow slurry. The latter lower outflow slurry which contains unreacted dolomite and lime stone separated selectively is returned to a line 1 as an absorbent.

摘要： PURPOSE:To separate and recover vanadium and nickel in high efficiency in the regeneration process of heat medium particles used in the thermal cracking of heavy oil, by dissolving the vanadium and nickel deposited to the surface of the particle, and separating and recovering the metal derivatives. CONSTITUTION:Heat medium particles with deposited vanadium and nickel are extracted through the line 13 at a constant rate, and fed to the regeneration column 14. The separated metal compounds are taken out through the line 19 and fed to a washer 12. After washing, the heat medium particles are recycled to the fluidized bed reactor 2 through a line 22. The washing liquid containing vanadium and nickel is extraceted through the line 23, and fed to the oxidizing tank 24. The oxidized solution is introduced into a pH adjusting vessel 27 through the line 26, in which V2O5 is precipitated by the ammonia introduced through the line 28. After concentration, the solution is introduced into the crystallizer 37 through the line 36, and Ni double salt is crystallized.

Decomposition conditions are desirably sulfuric acid concentrations 0.3 to 0.6mol/l and 1 to 8 hours of heating at 95 deg.C to boiling point.
