    • There is provided an improved solution for generating and compressing uplink channel feedback information in a communication system. The solution includes determining, at a user terminal, information related to a condition of at least one channel between the user terminal and at least one communication point of a cooperative multi-point transmission network, and generating feedback information including, for each reporting sub-band, a channel condition of a predetermined resource block and at least one differential channel condition of at least one other resource block within the same reporting sub-band. The generated feedback information may be communicated to a control node of the co-operative multipoint communication network.

    • A user equipment (UE) receives a first dynamic resource allocation on a first channel (PDCCH), then sends data according to the first resource allocation. During a time at which an ACK/NACK for the sent data is scheduled to occur on a second channel (PHICH), the UE is engaging in an activity that takes priority over the ACK/NACK. The UE then receives a second dynamic resource allocation on the first channel and determines the ACK/NACK for the sent data from the second dynamic resource allocation. The determining can be direct, as in receiving a zero-valued resource allocation; or it may be indirect as in mapping the second dynamic resource allocation to the second channel and receiving the acknowledgement on the second channel after that mapping. Also detailed are similar mirror actions from the Node B's perspective, as well as apparatus, methods, and embodied computer programs.

    • A method, system, apparatus, and computer program product for decoding control information, wherein a total number of allocation blocks defining control channels to be allocated to users for at least one of uplink and downlink directions is determined. Then, a format which determines resource allocation within allocation blocks is selected, allocation blocks are decoded using the selected format, and an error checking is performed for the decoded allocation blocks. This selecting, coding and error checking is repeated for different available formats until no error is revealed in said error checking. Thereby, a blind estimation of a format chosen for the control channel information can be achieved, so that additional amount of control signalling can be reduced.
