摘要： In a semiconductor element, if a crack is generated inside a bonding pad, the crack does not propagate inside the semiconductor element. The semiconductor element has an electrode on a surface thereof. A wiring layer is formed inside the semiconductor element. A conductive layer is formed separate from the wiring layer so as to form a surface of the electrode. A plurality of pole-like members are formed of a conductive material and extending between the wiring layer and the conductive layer and arranged adjacent to each other. The insulating layer is formed of an insulating material filled between the plurality of pole-like members. A frame member extends between the wiring layer and the conductive layer so as to surround the plurality of pole-like members and the insulating layer together.

摘要： A plane parallel plasma processing apparatus includes an impedance adjustment unit having a capacitive component, which is disposed between a lower electrode and a processing chamber. The impedance adjustment unit adjusts the value of the impedance over the path extending from an upper electrode to a grounded casing of a matching circuit via plasma, the lower electrode and the wall of the processing chamber to a level lower than the value of the impedance over the path extending from the upper electrode to the grounded casing of the matching circuit via the plasma and the wall of the processing chamber, and thus, highly uniform plasma can be generated by minimizing the generation of plasma in the space between the cathode electrode and the processing chamber wall.

After tone image signals of the test glass thus picked up are binarized while modifying threshold values according to brightness of a background in the tone image, the number of fragments, the area of the greatest fragment and the length of the longest fragment are calculated. Thus, operations, such as calculating the number of the fragments, can be automatically performed by directly picking up an image of the test glass, allowing a fragmentation test to be carried out with good operability and high precision.

In case the number of actually transmitted pages is different from the number of read or received pages stored in the second RAM, the user can select in advance, by a key depression on a keyboard, whether to record both the number of actually transmitted pages and the number of read or received pages stored in the second RAM or to record either one of the numbers, as the number of pages to be recorded on the transmission result list. In case of storing image data of plural pages of original read by a contact sensor in an image memory and collectively transmitting the image data of successive plural pages, stored in the image memory, as one page, judging from the recordable number of lines at the receiving side, a CPU causes a display unit to display both the number of actually transmitted page number and the number of read page included in the transmitted pages.
