Liquid formulations comprising detergent surfactant, such as oleate, alcohol ethoxylates, etc., and neutralized phosphoric acid are sprayed onto apples, lettuce and the like to remove soil and unwanted deposits, especially wax. Articles for applying the compositions to produce by spraying are disclosed. Use of the compositions for disinfectancy/sanitization of produce and cleaning/disinfectancy/sanitization of non-food inantimate surfaces are disclosed.

摘要： Liquid personal cleansing compositions which provide enhanced perfume deposition on the skin and which provide increased on-skin fragrance longevity. The liquid personal cleansing compositions contain from about 0.5% to about 5% of a cationic material, from about 1% to about 80% of an anionic surfactant, from about 0.01 to about 5% of a volatile perfume, and water. The ratio of cationic polymer to the anionic surfactant ranges from about 1:15 to about 1:5.

The composition comprises from about 0.01% to about 1%, by weight of the composition, of perfume wherein the perfume preferably comprises ingredients having a Clog P of 3 or smaller. Optionally, but preferably, the composition comprises from about 0.1% to about 5%, by weight of the composition of, water-soluble cyclodextrin, from about 0.1% to about 10%, by weight of the composition, of water-soluble metallic salt, from about 0% to about 3%, by weight of the composition, of solubilizing aid. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric and contains less than about 5%, by weight of the composition of low molecular weight monohydric alcohols.

Specifically, the detergent composition comprises: a perfume composition comprising at least about 70% of enduring perfume ingredients characterized by having boiling points, measured at the normal, standard pressure, of about 250.degree. C. or higher, and an octanol/water partitioning coefficent P of about 1,000 or higher, i.e., having a logP, or calculated logP, of about 3 or higher. The perfume is substantially free of halogenated fragrance materials and nitromusks. The composition also contains from about 0.01% to about 95% of a detergent surfactant system, preferably containing anionic and/or nonionic detergent surfactants. The compositions can be in the form of granules, liquids, pastes, bars, etc.

摘要： The present invention relates to liquid and solid biodegradable fabric softener compositions combined with highly enduring substantive perfumes. These compositions are naturally, or synthetically, derived perfumes which are hydrophobic, defined by having a low rinse water solubility (ClogP is greater than or equal to 3.0). These perfumes also have low volatility, a boiling point of 250.degree. C., or greater. These compositions provide better perfume deposition on treated fabric, and consequently are not substantially lost during the rinse and drying cycle for less impact on the environment. Also, these perfumes improve the physical stability of the softener composition.
