    • If a local oscillation wave of a frequency approximately half the received signal frequency is input to a low noise amplifier 2, a dc offset voltage caused by the nonlinearity of the amplifier is produced, thus degrading reception sensitivity. This problem is resolved by disposing before the low noise amplifier 2 a filter means, such as a bandpass filter 12, band-elimination filter 13, or high pass filter 14, with characteristics for passing the received wave and suppressing a frequency band at approximately half the received wave frequency, thus preventing a radiation wave at substantially the same frequency as the local oscillation wave from being input to the low noise amplifier 2. A filter circuit 15 is also provided in the low noise amplifier 2 as a means for eliminating a radiation wave input to the low noise amplifier 2.

    • When a thin film is formed on a flexible and filmy substrate by a vapor phase method, the substrate is prevented from warping to be caused by the internal stress remaining in the thin film. When the thin film is formed by the vapor phase method, the substrate is previously curved so that the stress acts in the direction canceling the internal stress remaining in the thin film to be formed prior to the filming. Accordingly, the stress of the curved substrate cancels out the stress remaining in the thin film formed on the substrate. The substrate having a thin film formed thereon is not warped, the stress in the interface between the thin film formed and the substrate is removed, and the thin film has no cracks to be caused by the stress.

    • An auxiliary part mounting bracket for an in-line multi-cylinder engine. An oil pump, an auto-tensioner, an alternator, a water pump and a compressor are preassembled on the auxiliary part mounting bracket to form an assembly. This assembly is fixed to a side of the engine cylinder block by six bolts. One bolt is threadedly inserted into the cylinder block through a space defined between the upper oil pump and auto-tensioner and the lower alternator and water pump; two bolts are threadedly inserted into the cylinder block through a space defined between the upper positioned alternator and water pump and the lower positioned compressor. Thus, it is possible to enhance the assembling operation, when the plurality of auxiliary parts are fixed to an engine body through the auxiliary part mounting bracket.
