    • A passive seat belt system is constructed of a guide rail, a slider movable along the guide rail, a webbing, a drive member for driving the slider, a bushing for connecting the drive member and slider in a state maintained in contact to each other with a gap left between the drive member and guide rail at the position of the bushing and on a side opposite to the slider, and contact members provided on the drive member with the bushing interposed therebetween. The contact members are in contact with the guide rail on a side opposite to the slider. Instead of the bushing and contact members, a cam may be provided between the drive member and slider for causing the slider to move in a direction away from the drive member when the drive member moves in a longitudinal direction.

    • Disclosed herein is a latch device for a movable anchor in a passive seat belt system for mounting on a vehicle. The latch device includes a movable anchor, a latch releasably engageable with the movable anchor, actuator means releasably holding the latch in engagement with the movable anchor, an actuator member for bringing the latch into engagement with the movable anchor by way of the actuator means when the movable anchor moves to its occupant-restraining position, and switch means associated with the latch in such a way that it is actuated when the movable anchor has reached the occupant-restraining position and the latch has been brought into engagement with the movable anchor. The position of the latch is directly related to whether the movable anchor has been locked by the latch or not. It is thus necessary to provide only one switch means for stopping the rearward movement of the movable anchor and for confirming the latching between the movable anchor and the latch. The latch device has been rendered compact and economical.

    • Disclosed is an electrophotographic apparatus comprising a photosensitive drum comprising an amorphous silicon type photoconductor layer formed on an electroconductive substrate, a main charging mechanism for charging the surface of the drum with charges having a predetermined polarity, an imagewise exposure mechanism for forming an electrostatic image corresponding to an image of an original on the surface of the drum, a toner development mechanism for forming a toner image corresponding to the electrostatic image, a toner image transfer mechanism for transferring the toner image formed on the surface of the photosensitive drum to a predetermined paper sheet, a toner cleaning mechanism for removing the residual toner adhering to the surface of the photosensitive drum and a fixing mechanism for fixing the transferred toner image to said paper sheet, wherein a heating mechanism is arranged to heat the surface of the photosensitive drum at a temperature of 30.degree. to 40.degree. C.The problem of the flow of an image inherent to the use of an amorphous silicon type photoconductive layer is effectively solved if this electrophotographic apparatus is employed.
