    • A foldable accommodating box includes a floor having a sidewall accommodating pocket, a pair of end walls pivotally supported on the floor, and a pair of sidewalls capable of being accommodated in the sidewall accommodating pocket in a mutually piled state. Each of the sidewalls includes a wall plate formed into a right-angled quadrilateral shape, a frame plate secured at right angles to an outer surface of an outer periphery of the wall plate, and a plurality of metal bars combined in a lattice shape and secured to the wall plate and the frame plate. The frame plate is provided with a notch for ensuring that when the sidewalls are piled on each other in an embraced manner so that their outer surfaces are opposed to each other, they are piled on each other with the frame plates partially adjoining each other on inner and outer sides. Thus, it is possible to prevent a portion of an accommodated member from protruding, and the sidewall can be constructed to have a sufficient strength, while avoiding an increase in weight. Moreover, it is possible to prevent an increase in thickness of the pair of sidewalls.

    • An electromagnetic relay, having a core 3 fixed by press-fitting in a yoke 4, which is facilitated in attaching operation and eliminated of the possibility, during press-fitting, of being placed in poor contact by metal chips produced by cutting away the yoke 4 by the core 3.     • A conical-frustum-sputtering target for use in a magnetron sputtering apparatus for forming a film on a planar substrate. The sputtering target includes a target member having at least a conical-frustum-shaped surface including a first surface portion parallel to a center portion of the planar substrate and spaced a first distance therefrom, a second surface portion parallel to at least an extension of a peripheral portion of the planar substrate and being spaced a second distance therefrom wherein the second distance is less than the first distance, and at least one-third surface portion inclined with respect to the planar substrate for interconnecting the first surface portion and the second surface portion. By utilizing such a sputtering target, a film having a uniform thickness can be formed on a substrate having side steps and such can be utilized to deposit metallic thin film for a minute wiring pattern and can be applied to a larger substrate.

    • A first air conditioner is generally applied to a vehicle including a windshield and a passenger compartment having a front segment and a rear segment. The windshield faces the front segment of the passenger compartment. Air is injected into the front segment of the passenger compartment via a first duct. Air is injected into the rear segment of the passenger compartment via a second duct. A humidifier acts on the air injected into the rear segment of the passenger compartment via the second duct. In a second air conditioner, a humidifier can be selectively activated and deactivated. A temperature control arrangement responsive to activation and deactivation of the humidifier compensates for fluctuations in the temperature of air resulting from changes between activated and deactivated states of the humidifier.
