    • A multi-element information transmission system comprises a plurality of slave stations (S1-Sn) operatively inputted with a plurality of apparatus information signals concerning apparatus to be controlled (or sensors), and a master station (2) for allotting the apparatus information signals to time slots in a transmission path and receiving a specified apparatus information signal with priority from the respective slave stations. The master station (2) includes a priority change information signal adder (5, 6, 7) and a multi-element information signal separator/processor (5, 6, 7). The priority change information signal adder (5, 6, 7) adds a priority change information signal for changing priority of the information signals transmitted from each slave station (S1-Sn) to the master station (2) to an information transmission signal string to be transmitted to each slave station, the signal string containing a sync signal allotted to a time slot for synchronization of information transmission between the master station and the respective slave station and various information signals to be transmitted from each slave station to the master station which are allotted to other time slots. The multi-element information signal separator/processor (5, 6, 7) separates and processes the multi-element information signals transmitted from each slave station (S1-Sn), on the basis of the priority change information signal. The respective slave stations (S1-Sn) include a detector/counter (35, 36) and a transmission pattern reconstructor (38, 43; 13, 14, 15). The detector/counter (35, 36) detects the sync signal contained in the information transmission signal string transmitted from the master station and counts the number of time slots following the time slot allotted with the sync signal. The transmission pattern reconstructor reconstructs transmission patterns of the respective slave stations in accordance with the priority change information signal when a count value from the detector/counter coincides with a predetermined value.

    • In a multiple digital controller system which comprises a main or first digital controller (101) and at least one stand-by or second digital controller (201) and in which the main digital controller (101) normally applies the control signal to an object to be controlled (50), and the stand-by digital controller (201) applies the control signal to the controlled object (50) when the main digital controller (101) is disabled, an improvement is made so that an undesirable level variation may not substantially occur in the control signal applied to the controlled object (50) during the transient state of switch-over from the main digital controller (101) to the stand-by digital controller (201). In the improved multiple digital controller system according to the present invention, the integral calculation to be carried out in the stand-by digital controller (201) in a period n (n = 2, 3, ....) is executed on the basis of the data representing the result of integral calculation carried out in the preceding period (n-1) in the main digital controller (101) and transmitted from the main digital controller (101), in order to eliminate the influence of the differnece in conversion error occurring in the AID conventers of the digital controllers.
