摘要： An component concentration meter includes an output unit that outputs an electromagnetic wave to an object to be measured and includes a detecting unit that detects the property of the electromagnetic wave passed through the object to be measured under a first condition and under a second condition in which the temperature of the object to be measured is different from that under the first condition. The component concentration meter also includes a concentration determining unit that determines the concentration of a target component contained in the object to be measured, based on a property difference which is a difference between the properties of the electromagnetic wave detected by the detecting unit under the first condition and under the second condition and a difference between the temperatures of the object to be measured under the first condition and under the second condition.

By controlling the timing of a scan by a beam scan portion in response to the characteristic of a laser light source and by setting a light emitting time of the laser light source to an integral multiple of a scan cycle of the beam scan portion, it is possible to illuminate a spatial light modulator homogeneously with a laser beam. It is thus possible to display an image at high accuracy without causing a bright line, irregularities in brightness, and contrast deterioration.

The polarizing filter and the polarizing modulation plate are disposed near the one principal plane of the light guiding plate, in order of the polarizing modulation plate and the polarizing filter from the light guiding plate side, the reflection sheet is disposed near the other principal plane of the light guiding plate on the opposite side to the one principal plane, at least two out of the lights emitted from the plurality of light sources include linearly polarized lights of which polarizing directions are perpendicular to each other in a stage of the lights entering the light guiding plate, and the polarizing modulation plate has a polarizing modulation cell (18a) which functions as a ½ wavelength plate, and a non-modulation cell (18b) which does not modulate the polarizing characteristics.

摘要： There is a problem that in the connection portion between a rare-earth-doped double clad fiber and a single mode fiber, pumping light leaks in a portion having the coating, and the fiber generates heat partially with this energy and deteriorates. Also, there is another problem that the output is limited as the oscillation wavelength becomes shorter. Accordingly, in a laser light source device formed by combining a fiber laser and a fiber amplifier, by using the residual pumping light in the fiber laser as the pumping light in the fiber amplifier, it is possible to enhance the reliability by preventing the fiber deterioration caused by the residual pumping light. Further, by amplifying the output in the fiber amplifier in the latter stage without any limitation on the pumping light output, it is possible to increase an output of the oscillation light.

摘要： In the video projector of the present invention, a fiber part of a fiber laser is disposed so as to draw a circulating orbit of more than one circulation along the inner wall of the projector housing. Further, an FBG which is part of the fiber laser is fixed so that its shape is not changed. Furthermore, a pump LD part of the fiber laser is disposed apart from the SHG element. As a result, the video projector can be miniaturized, and the portability and installment of the video projector are facilitated. Further, the output stabilization of the fiber laser can be realized by preventing a shape change of the FBG. Furthermore, by disposing the SHG element apart from the pump LD part which forms a heat source, the temperature change of the SHG element is suppressed and the wavelength conversion efficiency by the SHG element is enhanced.
