摘要： An MD cartridge storage case 1 is constituted by a storage case body 3 and a cover 15 openably/closably provided on the storage case body 3. An index sheet 40 inserted into the storage case body 3 with the cover 15 opened is brought into contact with a stepped portion 4b provided at the front edge of a bottom wall portion 4 of the storage case body 3 so that index sheet 40 is disposed in a predetermined position. The index sheet 40 is fixedly held when the cover 15 of the storage case body 3 is closed. Therefore, it is possible to provide a superior disk cartridge storage case in which not only an index sheet can be easily disposed in the storage case, but also the index sheet can be prevented from easily coming off therefrom.

摘要： There are provided a tape reel, a recording tape cartridge, a take-up reel, and a drive device at which, when a recording tape is wound on a hub, fluctuations in an axial direction of the hub can be suppressed and occurrence of tape edge damage can be prevented. At a tape reel having a hub on which a recording tape T is wound and flanges which are provided at both end portions of the hub, a large diameter portion, whose diameter is larger than diameters of both end portion sides of the hub, is formed at the hub. The large diameter portion is offset, from a widthwise direction central portion of the hub, toward the one flange side or the other flange side.

Mutually communicating hole portions are formed at the joining portions. At least one of the hole portions penetrates to a case outer face. A molten resin material is injected into the hole portions, and the injected resin material solidifies. Thus, the upper case and the lower case are joined together. A recording medium cartridge which enables an improvement in recyclability and is excellent for the environment, and a fabrication method thereof, are provided.

A method for manufacturing the reel includes molding a metal reel plate on a bottom surface thereof by insert molding by use of a metal mold in which a hold member for holding an inner peripheral surface of the reel plate is disposed on an outer periphery of a gate.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a magnetic tape cartridge including a cartridge case. In the cartridge case, a single reel with magnetic tape wound thereon is rotatably housed, and a leader pin coupled with a leading end of the magnetic tape is caught by a pin catching member of a recording-reproducing unit and is inserted into a tape leader opening formed in the cartridge case. The magnetic tape cartridge also includes a pin retaining spring member which elastically engages the leader pin so that the leader pin is detachably retained at a predetermined position within the cartridge case. Furthermore, a wall surface is provided in the cartridge case so that when the leader pin is inserted into the cartridge case, displacement of the pin retaining member due to the engagement of the pin retaining member with the leader pin is regulated within a predetermined range.
