    • A method of and a device for measuring a nugget (N) produced in a lap resistance welding by utilizing a supersonic wave, which comprises contacting a vibrator opposite type oblique probe (P) in which a pair of vibrators comprising a transmitting vibrator (1) and a receiving vibrator (2) are provided through an acoustic dividing surface (5) to cross the nugget (N) at an interval in a case (4) on a base material to be lap resistance welded across the nugget (N), emitting a supersonic wave from the vibrator (1) toward the nugget (N), receiving the reflected wave reflected through the nugget (N) by the vibrator (2), and measuring the nugget (N) with the height of an echo (R) of the received reflected wave as an evaluating index, thereby nondestructively, simply and quantitatively measuring the nugget (N) of all lap resistance welding for producing the nugget (N) without evaluation by a conventional, mainly qualitative, evaluation or a destructive test.

Data on test objects which are obtained by the ultrasonic testers (A1-An) are analyzed and judged by the host computer (C) and stored in the data storage unit (M).     • Measurement and a display of a load of digging a blasted ground which can contribute to accurate blasting. The operating direction of the backet of an excavator is detected by pressure switches (15 and 16), and the pressure PB of the bottom chamber 6SB of a backet cyclinder is detected by a pressure sensor (17). A processor (23) calculates the excavation position in accordance with the signals from a boom angle sensor (18), an arm angel sensor (19), a GPS (20) and a magnetic azimuth sensor (21), integrates the pressure PB in the ON-period of the pressure switch (15) and transmits the excavation position and the integrated pressure to a computer (30) through wireless transmitters/receivers (24 and 31). The computer (30) displays the map of the blast area and the blasting positions and superposes the transmitted excavation position on the map with a mark (x) and the transmitted integrated pressure with a figure. It is judged whether the blasting is proper or not by referring to the integrated pressure, and the judgement is utilized for the next blasting.
