    • A desiccant container (10) includes a cylindrical body (12) having a first end (14) and an opposed second end (16). The cylindrical body (12) defines a desiccant chamber (18) within the cylindrical body (12) for holding the desiccant material within the chamber (18) between the first and second ends (14, 16). The cylindrical body (12) is made of a flexible, gas permeable, liquid impermeable material. A first disk (20) is secured adjacent the first end (14), and a second disk (22) secured adjacent the second end (16) to facilitate closing of the ends (14, 16) and to support maintenance of a cylindrical shape of the container (10) during usage of the desiccant container (10) in high-speed automated packaging machinery.

    • An aerial cable placing truck is provided. The truck includes a stringing apparatus which includes a full castoring bullwheel system for positioning a cable. The stringing apparatus pivots from side to side for placing cable on either side of the truck. The truck also includes a cantilevered turret for supporting a boom. The cantilevered turret is positioned to provide an open deck cable route along the truck deck for the cable so that the cable may taken off the truck without cutting the cable from the cable reel. A live fairlead may also be included to provide an indication of fairlead load separate from basket load.

    • A bone plate(s) of complex form is provided, particularly suited to tibial plateau-leveling osteotomy and a distal femoral osteotomy. The bone plate has a main longitudinal axis, a bone-contacting bottom side (not shown) and a top side with at least three sets of overlapping holes which communicate through the plate from the top to the bottom side. The sets of overlapping holes define threaded apertures having multifaceted surfaces. When applied to a bone, two sets of such overlapping holes are located so as to lie on opposite sides of an osteotomy site and on the tibial plate; a third is aligned at approximately 60 degrees with the longitudinal axis. The configuration of this complex bone plate vary, depending on the physiology of the patient. An object of the invention is to provide an orthopaedic surgeon greater flexibility of choice in that a threaded peg providing secure fixing can be positioned at any interval along the bone plate, including at its extreme ends or on its elbow.

    • A fastener assembly for joining a panel to a sub-panel comprising a receptacle assembly having a threaded stud secured to the undersurface of the sub-panel. The assembly includes a bolt having an enlarged head at one end and a nose at the other end. The panel has a countersunk opening aligned with an opening in the sub-panel. The bolt is threaded for threaded engagement to the stud. The body of the bolt includes a plurality of spaced grooves extending longitudinally along the outer surface of the bolt body. A retainer surrounds the bolt body having spaced ears riding in the grooves and a stop ring in a groove adjacent the nose of the bolt stops the downward movement of the retainer.In this manner, the bolt may be disposed in the countersunk opening in the panel with the retainer on the blind side of the panel and the stop ring preventing movement of the retainer off of the bolt body thus retaining the bolt to the panel. The bolt can remain in the up or extracted portion while the panel is being attached to the installation. A plate is provided on the underside of the panel trapping the retainer between the plate and the panel. The stop ring prevents downward movement of the bolt when in a hold out position with respect to the panel and restraining meaning on the bolt prevents inward movement of the bolt when in the hold out position with respect to the panel.
