    • PURPOSE: A pedal-driven kick scooter is provided to allow a user to propel the kick scooter without kicking the ground because a gear is driven with the rotational motion converted from the reciprocating motion of pedals. CONSTITUTION: A pedal-driven kick scooter comprises a drive gear(46), a clutch gear, first and second connecting gears(62,64), a power transmission gear(66), and a rotating gear(70). The drive gear is formed on an end of a crank shaft(44) and coupled to an end of a link by a hinge. The crank shaft converts the reciprocating motion of pedals into the rotational motion. The clutch gear is engaged with the drive gear and selectively connected to one of first and second shift gears(52,54) to rotate the shift gear. The first and second connecting gears are respectively engaged with the first and second shift gears. The power transmission gear receives the torque of the first and second connecting gears through a connection shaft(60). The rotating gear transfers the torque of the power transmission gear through a rotary shaft(72) to a rear wheel(30).

    • A control circuit for melody sound output of a door bell is provided to minimize component elements of circuit arrangement thereof and keep output sound for a predetermined time period by a single manipulation of a switch for outputting melody, buzzer sound, wind sound or voice sound according to the generation time of a charging current of a capacitor. A control circuit for melody sound output of a door bell includes a capacitor(21) connected between a positive terminal of a DC power supply and a base of a first transistor(11) electrically, and a switch(40) for connecting or shorting contact parts. One end of each of the contacts parts is positioned between the first transistor and the accumulator and the other end is connected to a negative terminal of the DC power supply. A diode(30) is connected between the switch and the first transistor. A second transistor(12) has a base electrically connected to a collector of the first transistor, an emitter connected to a melody element(50), and a collector connected to a positive terminal of the capacitor. As the switch is driven and a reverse bias is applied to the diode, a charging current generated by the accumulator is applied to the melody element for a predetermined time period through the first and second transistors.

    • PURPOSE: A mobile internet service system and an advertising method using the system are provided to enable a user to search wanted information easily and to enable a communication company to provide a service to users by using an integrated gateway unit connecting all networks of a plurality of a mobile communication companies. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of base station devices(410, 420, 430) receives and demodulates a signal transmitted from a wireless internet terminal device of a user. A plurality of wireless networks(411, 421, 431) converts the transmitted signal into a protocol signal for a wireless internet service. A plurality of gateway units(412, 422, 432) is connected to the wireless networks(411, 421, 431), respectively. An integrated gateway unit(440) connects the gateway units(412, 422, 432) as one unit. The internet(450) connects the integrated gateway unit(440) with another network(450). A web server(460) is connected to the internet(450) and provides web information. The elements of the integrated gateway unit(440) are described as follows. A plurality of wireless data transmitting/receiving units transmits/receives a signal between gateways of a mobile communication company. A web data transmitting/receiving unit is connected to the internet and transmits/receives a signal transmitted from a web server. A database stores user information and advertising information. A data converting unit is connected between the wireless data transmitting/receiving units and the web data transmitting/receiving unit and may convert a signal to be transmitted.
