    • PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode has excellent luminous efficiency, low voltage, and long lifetime and prevents light leakage by including an exciton-blocking layer. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting diode includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and at least one organic material layer disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The organic material layer includes a light emitting layer. Between the positive electrode and the light emitting layer, an organic material layer including a compound represented by chemical formula 1 is placed. The light emitting layer includes compound represented by chemical formula 2. Between the positive electrode and the light emitting layer, an electron-blocking layer is placed, and the electron-blocking layer includes the compound represented by chemical formula 1. The electron-blocking layer is an organic material layer in contact with the light emitting layer.
