    • The present invention is directed to a method and device for mobile communication service, more specifically to a method and device for mobile communication service using a dedicated frequency. The method for providing mobile communication service, in which a dedicated frequency conversion unit utilizes a dedicated frequency in a predetermined area, based on a preferred embodiment of the subject invention, comprises the acts of receiving a signal of said dedicated frequency transmitted from said dedicated frequency base station, corresponding a signal of common frequency to a signal of said received dedicated frequency, and transmitting a signal of said corresponded common signal, wherein mobile communication terminals can receive a signal of said common frequency from said dedicated frequency conversion unit in said predetermined area and make a transition to a dedicated frequency bandwidth. According to the present invention, a separate, dedicated frequency can be used in a particular area or building, where PN pollution is severe, to prevent PN pollution from occurring and provide a relatively interference-free, high quality mobile communication service.

    • A method for analyzing a spot image of a biochip determines a boundary of a spot in the spot image by correcting a distortion of the image generated due to lens characteristics and using a function for evaluating the quality of the spot image. First, the distortion of the image is corrected based on the lens characteristics. Then, the boundary of the spot is determined by using background pixel levels of the spot image and the function for evaluating the quality of the spot image. The determined boundary of the spot defines a spot area and a background area surrounding the spot area in the spot image. Finally, the intensities of the spot and the background thereof are estimated based on the determined boundary. The estimated intensities are compared with predetermined thresholds to evaluate physical and biological characteristics of the spot.
